Speedball 2 Evolution by Vivid Games

Is this based on the Amiga classic?

 

This is so gonna own Still have Speedball 1+2 even to this day on my lappy.Classic games from yesteryear,so can't wait for this to drop They should also release The Chaos Engine,another classic i still have

 

Speedball 2 is one of my most played games ever so im realy interested in this

 

When ? This brings back many amiga memories!

 

One of my favourites games from the Amiga period!

... I just hope I am not thinking of it through rose-tinted glasses and playing the new version doesn't destroy my feelings for it. So many games are like that ... you think - why on earth did I play this? ...it sucks! ... though the xbla version of Sensible Soccer is pretty amazing .. just like the Amiga original ... all that's missing from that was my zipstick!

 

The chaos engine would be an awesome port along with alien breed.

 

Can't wait for this to come out, used to play it with my friend on the Amiga.

Hopefully it will have online multiplayer

Honestly I don´t know how many hours I put into this game.

When I was into Amiga gaming bitmap brothers were awesome as developers. I still remember playing SpeedBall 1 and 2 on the amiga and they were a ton of fun. This will be an instant buy for me!

This is great news! I hope this is but the first of many Bitmap Brothers games to be ported. I would love to play Gods, Magic Pockets, Chaos Engine and other games that I enjoyed on my Atari ST back in the day.

I would like to see iOS ports of the Amiga games Starglider II (Argonaut Software), Armour-Geddon (Psygnosis), and Frontier Elite II (David Braben, GameTek). I would pay $20 a piece for them!

Yes!

It's about time someone brings quality ports of Bitmap Brothers games. As usual, I think the limitations of the tactile screen will get in the way of true joy, but I'll get these ports nonetheless, if anything at least for pure nostalgia.
