This service is great for finding only the best apps that have gone free. I've found it to be a great graphic interface, and it is fast and effective in helping you weed out only what you want. I'd love to see further advancement you guys will do to it.

Awesome app for searching through recently free apps! I love the UI, it is simple and almost Apple-like in quality and simplicity. I love the information you can get for the app you click on, it is awesome.

this is a really great site. The presentation of the apps is great. i like that the pictures come one below the previous picture and not beside like most sites. This is a great feature.

I don't like the"Learn more" button, you should rename it in "Download app" or something like that. the learn more button is confusing and a bit small.

added you site to my favorites.

    Pros:
    -Simplistic interface, not cluttered
-Displays top apps instead of all in one page
-Beautiful and polished UI with large icons
-Easier to find apps/games according to category
-Share app function via SNS & email
-Time verified function helps keep disappointments at bay
    -Ad FREE!!!

    Cons:
-Lack of advanced functions like history of price drops
-Fonts not very legible under sunlight/unfavourable lighting conditions
-Background & colour themes/schemes not very attractive
-Lack of sorting options (e.g iPhone apps all with 5 stars, all utilities for all platforms)

    Bugs:
-There's something off with the page scrolling, at first I thought it was only in landscape mode but then it happened also on portrait especially when I reached the end of the page and tried to scroll up, the entire screen bumped up instead and I had to carefully scroll in the middle in order to get back to the top

    Improvements:
-Would be great if there were an app version or at least compatible with saving it to home screen instead of launching from Safari each time
-An auto notification system either in-app or via email for when an app in the wish list goes free so we don't miss out on it
-The ratings are a bit confusing, should read as 4 stars & above or 4 stars +
-Compatible devices & iPhone 5 optimisation could be useful info for users to decide on an app/game

    Comments:
Honestly I was skeptical whether this would do better than the many many other pre-existing sites which does the same thing and I was happily proven wrong. I managed to find quite a few apps that I was interested in like runtastic pro series which I was quite sure I set on alert in another site so lo and behold I was bought at that moment, while the rest is history as you can see above.

I really like it :) The interface is simple, yet efficient. The colours and graphics are pleasing to the eyes. I appreciated how it shows apps that are rated 4 or more stars. That was a good "twist" haha. Plus, there were no annoying ads, which is always a huge plus in my book.
    Overall, great!

I love the service, it offers a great way to find specifically good apps that have gone free. The GUI and the simplistic navigation make it better than similar services. I personally would remove the hot air balloons in the background as they don't really add to the theme which is apps, I suggest you display dozens of apps in the background instead.

Great job with this free app discovery service guys. Love the fact that you can get all of the information you need right from within the site, and the links to the app store, and ability to share the app makes it really cool. The graphical aspects I find very pleasing to the eye, and it focuses on the things you are wanting to see, the apps.

I think you guys should make an app for this service, and send push notifications so users could be reminded of apps going free, it would help remind them to check. Overall it is great and simple way to find the new free apps.

Cool service guys, I like the GUI and the information given, and one thing I like more than other services like this are the screenshots for the apps. I always base a lot of my app purchase decisions on the screenshots for the apps as that gives me a good idea of what I'm getting. I would like to see an app like others have said though.

It's interesting. I'm really digging the idea of a site (are you planning on becoming an app?) that only shows free apps rated above 4 stars. When i first got my ipod i used alot of sites like this and they were extremely sucky, they always put the high-grossing apps first instead of the high-rated apps. Like that there is an option to choose the platform and how many stars the apps/games are rated, and i definitely like the different categories. One thing i didn't really like was the color scheme, the light blue background and the sky blue top just didn't work for me. I really have sucked at art my entire life so take this with a grain of salt, but i think more contrast would make it easier on the eyes. Another thing i would like to suggest is maybe if you could add a "most downloaded" button so new users can immediately see what apps other users are liking.

    Thanks!

Hi everyone - thanks so much for the feedback. It's been very helpful! We're always looking for information on how to improve our service or how others sites compare to Tekiki.

For those who have asked about a mobile app, you can easily access the site as an app through the following steps:
    (1) Open www.tekiki.com in Safari from your iPhone.
    (2) Tap the "share" button (the button in the middle) at the bottom of Safari.
    (3) Tap "Add to to Home Screen".

Again, thanks for the feedback and we look forward to reading more!

Clean and simple, a little too simple although 4 stars and above is nice to filter out 3 stars( average ) and below apps.

What are those big borders for? Why not stretch the main GUI and fill up more or have 2 rows instead of one? Just suggesting :) keep it up

Definitely a handy site. Question, will this be made into an app, or is it website only?
The layout seems to cater to an iPhone orientation (rectangular), and feel its kind of small on the iPad 2. I would have liked to see at least a second column when looking through what is free. This is compounded when you click on the app to see the details, and have to keep scrolling down through the pictures. Not to mention it can feel clumsy having to scroll through, because not only does it become jumpy, but it will sometimes act as if its grabbing outside the set area and move the whole website up and down, not just the main portion you want scrolled. This is particularly Important because extra information is at the end, so in order to view that vital information, you will be scrolling. not sure if changing the orientation of info would help or not. since right now its specifics/details, photos, then a description. It is nice that you have price, when it was verified, download, and share, but I would have liked a button for reviews if possible.

The sliding/scrolling of the site felt clumsy/jumpy as indicated earlier, and not as smooth as one would like. You may be different, but I would have preferred a more freely flowing design in this respect. I think having it stop upon completion of slide makes it feel choppy, only adding to the jumpy feel of scrolling through.

When looking through, I only saw a that you are able to check what apps were free today. I feel like its kind of an inconvenience not having more. Such as what is expected to be out tomorrow, if applicable when (time), because it will allow people to be ready for it. Or put another way, look forward to it. Not to mention I would have also liked to see a button for what was free yesterday, and there can always be an icon indicating whether its still free or not. I figure you wanted to stay simple, but I think a day back and day forward is still simple, yet gives the user a much more full and powerful experience. And it will allow you to find games that you may have otherwise missed.

It is nice that you have price, when it was verified, download, and share, but I would have liked a button for reviews if possible. I mean what you have listed is definitely the meat and potatoes, but knowing user feedback is important as well.
I appreciated the fact they are organized by topic, as well as by star rating, which is quite a nice feature. It makes finding what you want a lot easier. The color scheme is done nicely as well, it's easy on the eyes.

I think that's about it for what I had in Eros for feedback. Hopefully it is useful, thank you for holding the contest! Knock on wood I hope to win! Good luck to all.

    My impression:
    Pros:
    - Interesting concept.
    - Potential to be a Appshopper replacement.

    Cons:
    - Everthing is blown up on my iPhone and makes scrolling quite difficult
    - I noticed 1001 attemps app price change showing up as $0.99>$0.99. Bug?
    - An App for it will be more helpful. ( can send notification)

Thanks for all the great feedback! Keep it coming!

We actually did develop an app, but the Apple Store is not accepting any discovery apps (see the whole AppGratis fiasco). It's an unfortunate because that's definitely the better way to go.

I like the site, nice looking and easy to navigate.

Are you only listing games that have gone free? Or are you doing price drops as well? It would be nice to see the new price in the list view instead of just the old crossed out price, but if you are only listing free games then I guess it doesn't matter.

Right now you are listing Ridiculous Fishing and Toy Story Smash It as price drops, but I don't think they've actually changed in price?
