Puzzle Battle Tournament!

Hey guys! We wanna test out PuzzleFlow’s Battle Mode - we need a few volunteers

We’re gonna start small, just because we want to feel out how we can do tournaments through Touch Arcade. If all goes well, we’ll do bigger ones, and eventually build tournament support directly into PuzzleFlow.

The first two people that reply to this thread with their GameCenter usernames will be our guinea pigs! You’ll battle each other for a $10 iTunes/Paypal prize.

This is how we’re envisioning it:

1. Download PuzzleFlow -here-, and start the Puzzle Battle trial (the trial says it’s one day, but it’s currently unlimited - try it out!)
2. Friend each other, coordinate a battle time, and have at it
3. The winner replies back to this thread that they’ve won. If the other player doesn’t cry fowl within 1 day, the winner will be awarded the prize!

You will battle using this picture:

Magical Lands → Clear Skies → Castle in the Sky


Use 25 Pieces, No Time Limit and Normal PowerUp Rate.

We recommend you try Battle Mode out with a nearby friend first (or 2 devices) to get the hand of it.

What are Puzzle Battles?
Puzzle Battles are the competitive mode of PuzzleFlow. The main goal is to finish your puzzle before your opponent, but you also earn PowerUps along way to defend your board or send attacks.
There’s over 20 different PowerUps.
There’s also the concept of a ‘Puzzle Bomb’ - solving groups of pieces will explode the area on other boards.

Ikabeer, creeps - please friend each other through GameCenter if you haven't already, and coordinate a time to battle.
You can either PM each other here, or just send the invite directly from PuzzleFlow and wait for a connection.

Multiplayer should work fine, but let us know if you have any problems connecting or playing.
