Hey everyone, I just wanted to announce my new game Speed Boaty, releasing on the App Store for free on 12 July! *UPDATE - GAME NOW AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE* https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/speed-boaty/id1390086892?ls=1&mt=8 Allow me to set the scene.... The year is 1984... Miami is a hotbed of speedboats, inexplicable marine ramps, sharks, and cruiseships... The Ocean is a Dangerous Place! Rad Features Dodge and jump your boat through endless fast-paced danger on the high seas that's different every time you play! Unlock 30 different boats! Loads of awesome and super funny boats to share with your friends! Watch out for Sharks, Fishing Boats, Giant Kraken, Jagged Rocks and more! Hit Ramps to jump over mines and giant Cargoships! Collect coins and treasure chests dropped by planes! Share your best highscores with your friends! Procedurally generated oceans filled with different danger and adventure every time, creating loads of surprising epic moments! What inspired me to make this game? I wanted to make a game that reveled in the 80's action movie moments, speedboats hitting ramps, low flying planes dropping all sorts of things, jumping over ships - but wanted to make something that didn't take itself too seriously and focused on funny epic moments! I'm super excited to see you all enjoying the game, and hear any thoughts you have on it. Feel free to check out the website https://speedboaty.com/ Or follow me on Twitter https://twitter.com/littleredsail But either way I'll be posting more updates right here for my TouchArcade crew Thanks, Matt
Question - does the start of the trailer above come across as being grainy and glitchy like an old 80's VCR picture? That was what I was going for, but I'm still learning Premiere so maybe that's not the impression you have?
Ok, just put up the latest version of the trailer, hope you enjoy! (wasn't really feeling the glitchy CRT/VCR effects I was using previously)
