The plane is flat for this game. Think Alien Hominid or Zombieville in regards to that. We are working on another project that features Greek myth (The gods, Minotaurs, Cerberus, etc.) that has a level plane similar to Castle Crashers.

Beta testing sounds cool even though I probably won't get in because I've never beta tested before (always wanted to). The screenshots are finally up, I was flaming on one page because that Pocket Monkey guy kept saying all this dumb stuff and not posting any screenshots. Glad to see the screenshots are finally up, looks entertaining for .99. The Spartan looks really cool even though he's not exactly 3D and all that great stuff. I think I'll be getting this game; you have my support on this one
Don't worry about it so much. Pocket Monkey is a character and quite a strange one at that. You love him or you hate him.
No, beta has yet to be decided upon. I am the publisher and producer, but not the development team. I am strongly encouraging for a public BETA, but the team as a whole may keep it internal, since we plan to launch in 10 days regardless and it may be counter-productive. I hate breaking anyones hearts, so we will send out promo codes for the game instead.
