That's....uh...good to know...I'm glad I asked... @ Kris Jones Just out of curiosity, how bloody would you say the game is on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being not bloody at all and 10 being bloodier than God of War?
Did you watch the video? It's not nearly as bloody as Zombieville, but we aren't killing Zombies, they are people...PEOPLE! Honestly, I would be surprised if they rejected it. We shall see.
Oh LOL I didn't even know there was a gameplay video. Looks sweet. I will be suprised if Apple rejects it.
Is there a story mode to it with different levels and stuff? The game looks kinda boring. It looks like I can beat it with my eyes closed...just put one finger on the right arrow, and have another finger tap the sword button. Just like zombie ville except you just get a sword and shield as opposed to lots of different weapons/ammo.
Hi! I've been following this thread for as long as i can remember and decided to register and say i'm very impressed with the support you are giving to your game and your fast replies, i hope this gets approved soon. I'll be eagerly awaiting to buy!
I guess it's just a waiting game now huh? When would you expect to hear news, about a week? Good luck to you guys (however many there were working on the game), I appreciate a dev or publisher who is actively involved in interacting with consumers. It shows they actually care about their game and the people buying it.
Hopefully in a day or two saying it's approved. This game looks awesome, I will be picking this up for sure when it comes out.
It is just me for right now. Hopefully I can expand after Sparta is released. I have so many ideas that I believe the community would love and they are far greater in scope than Sparta: Lords of War. Who knows how long it will take to review. Look at Car Jack Streets. Look at that Saucelifter game that took like a month.
Mmmm.. I love the video. So this game will be something like a survival... hack&slash? Sounds really fun especially with the upgradable armor, and that 1.5 update with 15 new weapons sounds very appealing. Can't wait for this one, looks beautiful
First version will be survival hack and slash. The second version, which I am working on right now, will be like 5 times the game, but come at double the price. It will include campaign, more customization of character, and possibly more than 1 hero.
Just wondering... I haven't been reading much of this but do you start out as a peasant-like guy fighting weak opponents then you upgrade armor and fight stronger guys? This definitely seems more worth it than that Zombieville game, I hated that game.
Have an idea for online game, unless you have everything in place for the updates: Have two characters, one fighting on the right side and the other fighting on the left, both protecting some valuable thing (a princess, maybe?) until they die or the villains reach the prize- kind of like Heavy Mach where tanks keep coming at you. I don't know anything about the game and story about the real spartans and the wars they fought but this would work for me, and for two people playing online multplayer. I'm going to get this game for sure now and going to be on my wanted games list.
I don't quite understand. Would the players be against each other? Also, what would be the purpose of an object that needs to be defended if the player can simply die to lose? I am open to all suggestions, so keep em coming!
