Like Downwordly but better in some ways. I love the clicky-clacky sounds. Satisfying like fiddling with beads. ShinHadoukin Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 956 137 43 #3 ShinHadoukin, Mar 10, 2022 Man, this is a fantastic game and perfect aesthetic. I agree with vector, the sounds are perfect and add the feel. I would love a save when exiting. I was in a puzzle and ended up closing the app....game lost. jtaniguchi Active Member Jun 15, 2016 34 3 8 Canada https://appstore.com/jeffreytaniguchi #4 jtaniguchi, Mar 10, 2022 Thanks, @Anotherkellydown for posting this! And thanks @vectorarchitekt @ShinHadoukin for your comments. Mahjong also has that satisfying clicky-clacky feel. A save on exit is a great idea. I'll add it to the to-do list. vectorarchitekt, Anotherkellydown and ShinHadoukin like this. The IAP gives you the points for buying them. I’m enjoying this one too. Good to have you here in the thread, @jtaniguchi! ShinHadoukin Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 956 137 43 #7 ShinHadoukin, Mar 11, 2022 I played a "Moves" round. The last move I could not make a word. The only thing I could do was shuffle the letters. That counted as the last move. Now, I agree that a strategy here is to look ahead when making words to not be stuck however, if a power-up is the only way forward I would like to have the option to end the game. Not a big deal, but trying to think of options. jtaniguchi Active Member Jun 15, 2016 34 3 8 Canada https://appstore.com/jeffreytaniguchi #8 jtaniguchi, Mar 11, 2022 @ShinHadoukin Yes, the thinking behind Moves mode, puzzle mode and word search was that you should play with more strategy. You can end a game, or retry with a new board, at any time through the in-game menu (gear icon) at the top right of the screen. That should have been mentioned in the tutorial, but if it wasn't clear I can definitely improve that. The game modes Endless and Word Search and 3/4 of the puzzles were meant to be only unlocked when paid for with the IAP "buy the full game". I had set the game to automatically unlock when I was doing some user testing and forgot to set it back before launching the game in the App Store. It has now been corrected but everyone who downloaded it before the latest update had their game unlocked for free, which was my mistake, so I'm not going to correct it for them. Oops haha… ShinHadoukin Well-Known Member Feb 20, 2015 956 137 43 #9 ShinHadoukin, Mar 11, 2022 Looks like points are for shuffles etc. I would have definitely paid for full unlock, but I don't use powerups. That said, I guess I can buy 4.99 worth of shuffles. I hope your game breaks the charts. By far my favorite single player word game. jacekstanis Well-Known Member Nov 4, 2012 47 5 8 #10 jacekstanis, Mar 18, 2022 Game is good but would be much better if the dictionary was better. Thank you so much for your feedback. I’d love to improve the dictionary in any way I can. Could you give a few examples of which words aren’t being accepted? The current dictionary has a little over 60,000 words. If you can tell me what sort of words aren’t working I can look into improving the dictionary or figuring out why they aren’t being included. jacekstanis Well-Known Member Nov 4, 2012 47 5 8 #12 jacekstanis, Mar 19, 2022 Just a few unrecognised words Untreatable,qi,qis, joey,za,auditioners, auditioner, unsoundly, outlands.
