Spam anyone?

    The problem with CAPTCHAs is that in order to make them more difficult for bots, you necessarily make them more difficult for humans as well. Of course, having a basic CAPTCHA is better than having none, but they aren't going to stop everything.

    The reason CAPTCHA's aren't very effective anymore is that spammers have effectively figured out how to have real humans solve captchas that are then used to spam. The way this works is by getting idiots to fill out quizzes and shit then in order to see the results of whatever they got tricked in to doing they need to fill out a CAPTCHA. That CAPTCHA could be a TouchArcade registration CAPTCHA which they then use to make a spambot account and go hog wild.

    There really isn't any way to win.

    He killed all the spam. I'm actually missing those spammers now. Getting the itch to ban someone but barely any spammer since yesterday :(
