Space Tripper...

    We found some problems over the weekend which are fixed now :) So we are testing the fixes till Wednesday and will submit on Wednesday or Thursday.

    But the version I've been testing today can be classed as the final version and feels rock solid and does the things it should.

    It's quite shocking looking at the dates in the header files. This project was started in June 2008. It's been through development hell and back again but at least it's been released at last.

    Seemed like this game was destined never to see the light of day a few times, due to incompatibility, bugs, and when it was announced that Andy had left True Axis I feared the worst, but never lost faith!

    Well today we found a problem with the game - a very rare crash bug :(

    Luke and I have been tracking this down all today... I've just uploaded a fix in SVN, when Luke wakes up tomorrow he will test it. If all goes well, with another day of testing to make sure, we will probably submit on Friday.

    You have to laugh, though, because this game is fighting to not be released :)

    We just found and fixed a hidden memory leak in opengl that would cause a crash after very long periods of play. I've been doing some automated stress testing to make sure these are gone now. We could submit any time now.

    Wow, congratulations! I can't wait to get my hands on the release copy - the beta was amazing.

    Tilt to move, touch is for changing direction and weapons. It works really well though - sensitivity sliders, centering and everything!

    As Luke says this is submitted now... After all the pain I went through doing the conversion I feel relieved that it is finally going to be released - I really hate leaving things unfinished.

    Anyway, depending on Apple now, it should be out in a week or two!

    What will be the pricing? Gamecenter enabled with LB and Achievements?!

    Finally able to go to stage 3 without losing one bit -- but still figuring how to kill that thing. :p

    (Pre-)Review: fun, it is hard, harder than CAVE, but if you like shooter, do not miss this one.
