Battlestar Galactica The Galactica has to be one of my favorite spacecraft. The series did an excellent job of giving it a real, tangible, lived-in fell. Galactica was a character herself, and she evolved over the course of the series with her people. I don't wan't to get into too much detail so as not to spoil it for others, but the scene after her last jump of the series left me the most choked up I've ever been for an inanimate object.
The U.S.S. Sulaco is a fictional spaceship and important setting in the film Aliens. It also appears briefly in the opening scene of Alien 3. Here is the full Wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sulaco_(spaceship) Not the best picture...
This is a Romulan Bird of Prey, not to be confused with the Klingon Bird of Prey which uses the same basic design. Greg
The Super Dimension Fortress Macross (SDF-1) - just epic. Over 1.2km long, has a crew of 800, plus 1200 military personnel... excluding the 70k civilians it accommodated during the war with the Zentradi. It has a main reflex cannon that can instantly obliterate an entire fleet in one shot
Nice pics everyone, keep them coming! Everyone up to and including smirnoffsky should have their codes now. We're just about half way done. I'm out of the office now but I'll keep checking in, albeit a bit erratically
Babylon 5 It just tust hit me that Babylon 5 is most appropriate for a space station game (e.g. the Vorlon ship above). Removed V -Greg
The Firefly-class is a series of Multipurpose, Mid-Bulk Transport boats designed by Allied Spacecraft Corporation.
from wiki: The eponymous spaceship Red Dwarf is an enormous mining vessel owned by the Jupiter Mining Corporation and commanded by Captain Frank Hollister. It is 6 miles (10 km) long, 5 miles (8 km) tall, and 4 miles (6 km) wide. The jagged shape and dull red colour of the vessel has led to the vessel being described as a "giant red trash can". All of Red Dwarf's systems are controlled by the computer Holly.
I was wondering if the Red Dwarf or Starbug would show up - that's one of my big nostalgia picks. Code delivery should be up to date to this post. Keep the entries coming - I'm off for some kip so I'll check back in tomorrow. There are now 19 codes left from this point, in case you're wondering whether you've missed out or not

These things always get quiet over the weekend, because nobody's skiving off work and school on the boards If previous winners like niezam here want to contribute just for fun that's good with me - the main rule is that if you've got a code once from this thread all further contributions are just for fun I was wondering what ship to post here for a proper contribution, and decided to stay aboard the nostalgia train and give you the Heart of Gold: From the TV series: From the film: Yeah, I'm old enough and British enough that the TV series made a huge impression on my tiny mind. I have vague memories of presenting crayon drawings of Zaphod Beeblebrox to one of my infant school teachers. I'm sure she was charmed.
Thanks for the promo code Repair Drone. Just sharing some cool spaceship here while discover something new I'm a film and tv series fans, haven't seen The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy yet. I will get the film asap.
Okay, I sat down with the intention of explaining the HHGTG "franchise", then half an hour later I deleted it all and gave up. Wikipedia is your friend. The books are generally the first thing I think of, despite liking the TV series as a child.
