It’s a neat little vertical shooter where you’re playing 10 second levels while trying to get a set score for a star rating. The Game Center leaderboards are based on the amount of stars you’ve earned and is split up into 4 different difficulty levels - easy, medium, hard, and extreme. I completed 59 of the medium difficulty stages and earned 158 stars so far. When I first downloaded it last week, there were no ads at all, but I noticed they started showing up today. Thankfully there’s an IAP to remove them for $1.99, which I did right away. The control feels snappy, and there’s an option to make it relative touch if you want to. I stuck with the default setting though. This won’t be for everyone, but it really clicked with me. The “one more try” impulse is strong with this game, as well as the risk/reward ratio. Paying the $1.99 for removing ads was an easy choice. Thanks for the heads up, Anotherkellydown!” Anotherkellydown likes this. Mission 35 needs some requisite score adjustments. I can’t even 3-star it on easy. If I could I would make the ship’s hit box a bit smaller. I think it’s currently the whole ship, rather than just the core. Sometimes you just need to slip between really close bullets. Started going through it on easy and hard now that I finished medium. A shame it isn’t full screen though. Chq likes this. Chq Well-Known Member Jul 20, 2013 441 59 28 #7 Chq, Sep 2, 2024 Last edited: Sep 4, 2024 Crappy graphics but fantastic controls- respect! The game reminds me of Warblade, without surpassing its qualities. An optional slight exponential shipspeed should be configurable, so that the ship can be moved very fast an very slow, since both are needed here.
