    Hey Guys,

We did find a couple of crashes in the latest build. The problem with License 4 as well as a crash you sometimes get while selling were both found and fixed. We pushed a new update into Apple late last night so hopefully that will make it through the system soon.

Sorry for letting those slip through.

Although most people on this thread probably have the game already, we're running a Twitter promotion where we'll be giving away up to 30 promocodes today.

    That means you backslashio!

Anyhow the thread is here if you've been lurking and want to score a free copy.

Well I accidentally finished the game yesterday... My fault, I didn't realize when it said "you won't be able to come back", meant this is your last mission. I thought that particular mission would be lost once I left.

Anyway now I'm a license 5 on hardcORE and let me tell you, this is how the game needs to be played. A TOTALLY different experience where strategies and tactics come into play. Money is harder to come by, upgrades take longer, way more robot and for some reason they're real angry this time around ;) You can't just take a mission and expect to get through without thought and some trial and error, I love that. I find I'm just tapping the screen to get the dialog out of the way though as I just finished it the day before so it was all in my head still. Getting to keep the Alien Tech is only thing keeping me alive right now.

    Love this game!

Okay, so I bought this after missing out on the promo codes & generally gotten sick of waiting for a sale - even though I really enjoyed the demo :p I do love the game

Quick question though, am I missing out on huge bonuses by not fully completing the sidemissions? I've done the "collect the tourists" thing twice now & failed both times (only collecting 2/3 of them), only because my scanner isn't big enough and in the rush of killing the enemies I lose my place

I would say yes, they are worth doing. What level are you playing on?

Well I'm doing them but I just don't have enough time to find all the tourists especially when I keep running into enemies/rocks :p

Bit of a shame really ... by the time you can get a full stocked ship (i'm playing on hard at the moment) you've not got too much left to do and there isn't much of a challenge at that point...

Granted thats what hardc0re etc are there for but i'd hoped for something different ... i love the game but i'm on 3rd play-through and its taken me a day and a bit ....

Personally wouldn't mind for in-app purchase of a new storyline ... don't expect something for nothin' ... hope either SM2 or a new continuation of harder levels/new enemies/more varied gameplay is in the works.

I can't wait for the arcade spin-off that, I'm assuming, will introduce more of a survival/highscore style of play!

You don't miss out much unless you aiming to beat high score on the leaderboard

I don't mind in-app purchase for a new storyline either but Space Miner 2 the sequel is underway with better interface and game engine and new story. I'm looking forward to that. Try UltracORE for ultimate challenge if there is nothing left to do on HardcORE.

You'll miss out on an achievement. Try avoiding enemies instead of fighting them when looking for tourists, that will save you a lot of time. Remember you can kill yourself or just exit the zone (not 100% sure on the last one) and return and try again if you're going to run out of time.

I'm not too bothered on achievements, only if its a major cash bonus or some new equipment

    missed the sale

What's the possibility of an iPad version. Cuz I have a hard time getting iPhone games now since I got the iPad, gotten too many iPhone games and the higher def iPad version gets announced. Plus I'd rather play games on the iPad instead, it's so much nicer.

Please tell me there's an iPad version in the works?

oh...sorry supermann, that was my fault.

tomorrow it'll be mine then :D

  20. Da hell? That's a freakin' dollar. A US dollar for this game. If this sale was a van it would be a pimped out Econoline with rear hydraulics and "Free Candy!" written on the side, only instead of covered rear windows and a creepy pedo inside, there really is free candy. And ice cream. And strippers.
