Space Miner is not only currently featured on App Store but also ranked #37 on Top Paid and #49 on Top Grossing. Venan, did u buy the pinball machine for your employee?

Any point in keeping anything as opposed to just selling it or trading for newer, better stuff?

I could see maybe keeping a speeder hull, but everything else seems like it just gets better.

Currently I am only a couple hours in, but have been buying some things rather than trading, and I don't know if I need to be doing this?

    Any advice is appreciated.

It's good to keep some of the older tech when you start maxing out your generator and can't afford to buy a new one. Sometimes you may want to downgrade to a lower radar, say, in order to put on better weapons.

How do you sell you pieces? I've only even seen the trade option, am I blind?

When you go the store, if you have something worth selling (not part of your original gear) the sell button at the bottom of the screen will light up.

You know, for the longest time, I've been trying to figure out the name of this space fighting game I played on the PC when I was a kid. I checked out a YouTube video of Star Control 2 since a lot of people have compared Space Miner to that. And what do you know, the game that I played for hours upon hours as a kid was Star Control 2 haha. Thanks for answering my question!

Mike, how's the update going? Can you "accidently" leak some info of it or the sequel? :p
I so want an endless map or challenging map. There's nothing left in this game for me to play again...

yeah, some kind of challenges or modes where u can try to clear sector to get highscore on this level would be good. Because games is very nice but it can be finished in few hours on hard, and then there is no sense to play. Somehow it's disappointment, one could expect from this game more gameplay and replay value.

I think there's more than enough gameplay for a $2-$5 game. Sure, more gameplay modes would be nice, but they delivered a solid title at a great price.

There are people who always want more and more and seem to can't get enough. As annoying as cheapskates.

i have not said that this game is too expensive, ok? just little addition to gameplay will make this game more better because there is great potential. as dlc or free is not so important.

And where is something about it being too expensive? or about price? it just means that one could expect from game with such great engine and game mechanics more gameplay and replay value, what can be achieved with some tweaks.

For example single player map where u can find many asteroids, powerups and also weapon upgrades too, also many robots are there. And u need to get as much ore as possible in a give time. Such game mode is more fun than just clearing all sectors in storymode, what is actually not needed in order to finish the game.

Thanks - I was refering to your last quote, too.

Well, I've got my 20 hours of fun at the price of a xl-sized hamburger.

And I would love to pay for extra game modes and additional content, too.

I know many of us love this game, but let's give the devs a rest, I'm sure they are busy working. Go play some other games in the meantime or enjoy the outside world for once.

When you make a statement such as you did, its easy to infer that you could be complaining about the price or something similar. Space Miner is just another iPhone game, you can expect only so much from an iPhone game.
