at the moment i'm trying to recover the lost time i think that i'm the only one to have this problem here..i freed about 1 gb of free space on my device (for a total of 2,13 gb now) and i restarted it..so even if this could not help a lot let me hope that i'll never have this kind of problem anymore
Never crashed once, I have 3GS. Just completed all 3 difficulties btw, got highest overall score again . Now playing normal to complete some of the left over awards. Total play time so far is over 50 hours
since no one else has said it - nice write-up, deadclown. i have a few comments about your suggestions, in-line in blue. i've been updating my weapons spreadsheet, available here, so check it out if you're undecided about what weapon to upgrade to.
Challenging for me, too. Frustrating at times. The _only_ frustration, other than my relative lack of experience with this type of game.
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but if the weapon damage and time descriptions are accurate, the more expensive weapons do not always deliver more damage over time, even though they cost more money and energy. Is there some hidden mechanic that changes the calculation or what? The 3 most expensive weapons with a level 6 license are: Starcore II: 1600 damage over 1.2 seconds, or 1333 dps Blastmaster II: 1000 damage over .9 seconds 1111 dps Hyperflash II: 800 damage over .6s or 1333 dps Hyperflash II costs MUCH less then the other 2 AND consumes A LOT less energy -- i.e. its just better, unless there is some hidden advantage to the much more expensive Starcore II. So what is the hidden mechanic, or is this just bugged?
Not that I pretend to have a clue in this regard, but does your formulation factor in areas of effect? Some of these weapons can damage more than a single target.
The Starcore and Blastmaster both have unique traits that separate them from the other energy and kinetic weapons. Starcore projectiles will pass through anything so if you line up your shots you can take out multiple targets in a line. This is also useful when you're using an asteroid for cover and want to hit an enemy on the other side. The Blastmaster has a small AOE explosion when it hits its target causing weapon damage to any objects in the area and knocking enemies around more.
U lost everything when you start a game+, however, you get to keep all the alien techs. To get 1000/1000 award, you have to play game+ at least twice for the other two difficulties.
Just to clarify, you DO NOT need to play on a different difficulty level to get all the alien techs. However, you will need to play them eventually to get the awards for finishing hard and hardcore mode.
So what is up with the best two shields absorbing the same damage, but the more expensive shield have a much longer recharge time?
That's one tremendous post Deadclown, thanks for your feedback. I'll include some of my thoughts inline below.
If you are talking about the Supraflector and Atlas V, it's not the time you are seeing, but the amount of points that recharge per second. The Supraflector recharges much faster.
i have bought the game already. it is great. just wanna know how many sectors there are so i dont play too much at one time. the last thing i wanna do is beat the campaign in one sitting! but this game is staying on my phone for a loooooong time. after i beat normal i will go to hard then hardcORE.
There are 49 sectors. If you're trying to complete all the sectors, there's little chance you'll finish the game in one sitting (i'm close to 7 hours into it have mined only 60% of it). Keep in mind that once you complete the last mission (there are 23 of them), the game is over whether you've finished mining all the sectors or not.
