EV I played Escape Velocity, the whole trilogy extensively. This is the closest iPhone game to that. They are "somewhat" similar; I will say if you enjoyed EV you will enjoy this. I will say if you enjoy games, you will enjoy this. I will say, YOU WILL ENJOY THIS! Haha, really, this game is truly amazing, and I have been playing it non-stop. Kudos -Ramai
You must be kidding. The icon is fantastic! Only this icon and GTA: CTW deserve to be on my second page (along with apps such as Facebook, Shazam etc etc).
I love Space Miner, but I wouldn't say it's like Escape Velocity. Maybe the combat is, but Escape Velocity is about discovering new planets and civilizations, tradings goods and services between planets, and faction warfare. The game that EV fans should look forward to is Warpgate. Believe me.
Actually the closest thing Star Control II fans will get for the iPhone, is the upcoming Star Control II port for the iPhone http://forum.uqm.stack.nl/index.php?topic=4631.0
I'm choosing to ignore the eyeroll and take your confession of lifestyle change literally. What this forum needs is more hearsay, rumor and gossip. Sunlight, huh? Doesn't that like... hurt your eyes? I try to avoid that crap.
First game I've played to the 20% battery warning in a very long time. My only request: allow sectors to "regen" with rocks & enemies after 24 or 48 hours or something once you hit 100% in that sector. Ok, my only *other* request: DLC! more sectors, more upgrades, more whatever, just more!
looks like it's been "coming soon" for a while now. it's just a port? what's the hold up? I think I'm following BA's advice and will pick up Space Miner tonight.
well, when picky ppl found a nearly perfect game that they can't make criticism on, they'll switch to sth like icon or even grammar "the dialog sentence should be plural, it miss a 'S' at the end"
Easy, Jarek posted your channel already.... But yes. My Sense of finding things is epic, too. Especially things, that most people don't want me to find.
Absolutely a blast What a fantastic game! I've been playing this for the past 3 hours (on silent mind you) and I'm completely hooked. Wonderful witty dialogue (lol'd many times) and amazing graphics make this a keeper for sure. The controls are great, the maps varied, and the upgrades keep me churning for more cash. My only complaint is that provided you grind out each level, grabbing as much loot as possible, the game remains at a fairly non-challenging skill level...oh wait...was there an option at the beginning? Sweet Jesus there is. O.M.G. Best iPhone game I've played. Thanks to the devs! lak
It's just like discussed already, that such a small icon doesn't need any words in it, since it's again below the icon. Always. So no need to put the title in. Always feels a litte forced. But this also totally doesn't matter, I don't play games because of icons.... this game just rocks. And I love being picky! Love to see things reaching for perfection. This one is close.
See, as this story was from back in July it's proof positive you guys whipped this puppy out in just a couple of weeks...right? This was an epic effort and it shows. Please remain strong and avoid playing the quick $1 sales game with this one!
