In the short tine since my previous post, the developer (aka "Lord Venan) went and posted an 865,000 score to the Quotidian (free, non upgraded) Game Center leader board. If Apple doesn't already have a policy against developers, or "devs" participating in Game Center this way, then they ought to consider making one. "Lord Venan" ought to do the honorable thing, which is to make a YouTube video of himself scoring at least 400k with the "free" Quotidian ship. Otherwise Apple should disqualify such scores, and limit Venan employee participation to submissions of scores corresponding to recorded ganeplay sessions.
Dude wat? I've been playing for a couple of hours and already got 350k. I'm pretty sure someone better than me (usually at least 10% of the players of any given game, except for a couple where I'm really good, lol) could do 400k without breaking a big sweat. Let alone the developer, who has played this during alfa, beta, etc.!
I immediately payed the $2 to unlock all ships before even playing this game, that's how much trust I have with these developers. And I'm not disappointed with the game. 2 hours flew by before I knew it. Now hurry up with Space Miner 2, dammit!
Venan, Will the update that you have submited solve the problem to buy the Blast Pack in Europe(Sweden for me)? After I have clicked to purchase and typed my password I get the options if I want to buy the ship or the Blast Pack, but they show as $7 for the ship and $15 for the Blast Pack. Instead of 7kr and 15kr. Great game and I hope to be able to buy the Blast Pack soon
The currency symbol is a bug in the current version which we corrected in the patch. But you could purchase the game now, you'll be charged in your native currency.
Now that you've got doodle ninja and asteroids under your belt, you should consider hitting the gym. The buck I just paid to retina support and "fairness" should easily finance the kinds of low-glycemic foods you'll need.
I did try to buy it even though it said $15 and I got an error message but I tried again just now after reading your post and it worked.
I don't know if this has been asked or not but: Any plans on adding more ships or modes in a future update? And would purchasers of the Blast Pack get those additional ships for free? btw, loving the game. I just need to find more time to play lol
Wow, I'm shocked that I'm still in the top 10 with 959,048. I got that score the third time I played, too...what the heck...are people not putting any time into this or something?
Great question! The answer is if we decide to do more DLC ships, they will be included if you bought the Blast Pack. The if part really just depends on how the game does.
Bah second to lord venal now!) had one heck of a lucky run, but the secret to the high scores seems to be smart Bombs and reflector shields at the higher waves...used firedrake for quick shooting and dodging... Venan, at higher waves or combo levels it seems that the tractor been has a longer and quicker reach? Which is it and am I imagining things?
Upgrading your collector increases the speed and reach (along with the combo timer and cash mutliplier). And yes, properly using Smart Bombs is a big key to getting the monster combo multipliers.
Another question because in dont have game center. i would like to know wat are the current highscores? so please can anyone tel me that. My own highscores is at the moment 2,377,562 afters 26 waves wich place would give me that
forget DLC/IAP... Anyone having issues with ship control/thumb wheel? It seems very unresponsive to me compared to the original game. I am running on an i4 and have rebooted. Please fix this Venan... love the game, just can't control my ship. It's like delayed or something...
