    Hi all
We proudly announce our new space game Space Merchants: Days of Glory! It is still work in progress but we keep our fingers crossed to release it by the begin Q1 2015 if everything goes well.

Our new Space Merchants game is a sort of sequel/spin-off to our previous Windows game Space Merchants: Conquerors, which has won Becherovka Game competition in 2005. It is basically elite-like game which combines adventure with interesting story and narratives, RPGish character development, trading and upgrading your gear, and of course realtime dogfights in space.
Only this time everything is bigger and better of course. :) Game will be initially released in 2 languages, English and Czech. If you would like to see your language there, let us know.
The game will support 2 means of controls: precise controlling using mouse and keyboard (similar to game Freelancer) for Macs and simplified touch controls for ipads and larger mobile devices (iphone 6).
Stay tuned and let us know what you think!

    Looks great.
About touch controls for Ipad and Iphone 6...
    What about MFi gamepad support?
Second question, IOS8 METAL will be used? for devices that can use it.

  3. spajdr: Thanks!
MFi as well as other iOS game controllers should work right out of the box, current Unity engine already supports them.
iOS 8 Metal is in Unity plans for version 5.0 so we should be able to add it in later updates of the game.

looks really good!!! any info about a first person view or, better, a cockpit view?

  8. TheOutlander: thanks, basically 2 versions, one for desktops, one for tablets. It runs on mobiles as well, we will give it a test whether it's feasible to control it on smaller screens
JCho133: yep, we hope so :)
Truncana: third person (erm... ship) view will be the basic in initial release. Later on we will try to add VR support and for that purpose enable hiding of ship & GUI and maybe some kind of simplified cockpit as well
