So the game is wonky, because you don't know how to play? Tiny has to be taken down with grenades, his shots have a long cool down , and he's slow. Shoot move and duck behind cover, and occasionally throw pipe bombs. There's a bunch of shield and health pickups scattered around as well.

Really? I'd like to know how you think it could be better, I think the controls are great and very efficient.

Also Tiny is very very easy to beat, grenade to open then hits shoot and take cover as his shots take a while to unload. Just grenade/shoot then take cover until he dies.

An auto aim would really help. If your thumb miscues you end up firing at thin air, don't like that at all. But love the rest of the game. Very well done apart from finicky controls.

This. I snuck up on north west wall, tossed a grenade and hit the sprint buff near by, ran back to the prisoner I'm supposed to rescue. Snuck back and just tossed, hid, tossed, hid. Was actually entertaining.

Auto aim would remove a good deal of skill from the game...

I agree auto aim would make the game pretty boring, it's not that hard to aim once you get use to it.

Any thoughts yet Dev on if the game is doing well enough to get extra content?

Anybody know if there is a way to turn on cloud saving if we opted out of it in the beginning? I can't find the option anywhere and I'd like to sync my progress between my iPad and iPhone.

I don't get into a lot of iOS games lately. I also rarely log in or post here.
This game is great though. Figured I'd drop in to say that.
Pixelbite developed 4 out of the 20 or so games I currently have on my iPad. This is, in many ways, my favourite of their games.
For anyone concerned about the length or the controls, don't be. The games long enough to justify buying it. Even if it never got expansions.
The controls with shotguns, handguns and sniper rifles are a little different than most dual stick games. I personally like them. If you don't, there are smg's and assault rifles that control more traditionally.
As a whole, I'm reminded of old school Metal Gear games and that's one of the better compliments a game can get.

Edit: Normally I go with floating v stick. I found the controls better with fixed. Floating is default.

This game & gunslugs2 are going to be the reason my own games get delayed.
A fun and addictive game. Must buy!

    sniper rifle

Is there any other way to get a sniper rifle than beating Longbow Creek in 4 minutes?
Because I am not a rush player, I always use stealth and time, picking one enemy after another. So finishing this in 4 minutes will probably never happen.

Pretty sure I got a sniper rifle option at the end of the second stage, I used it all across third stage where I was helping the female pilot steal an aircraft

The one you have is a 1 star, there is a 3 star one for completing a level within 4 minutes (and not getting killed I might add). Is a really hard one to get...

I was doing Gnarly Trail Ranch and after 3 deaths I couldn't go back to checkpoint. That never happened before. The 3 deaths was flashing red???

It didn't say anything about there being a limit on the deaths in that scenario?? I've died plenty of times and could go back to checkpoint. Is that a bug or am I missing something here??

Don't fancy starting all over again after getting near the end.

3 deaths are enough, don't you think? In Gnarly Trail Ranch you need to finish in 10 minutes and not die even once to get awesome Huelta Wildfire T-5, which is pretty much a must have weapon for the next stage. To be honest, the moment I got my hands on very first laser gun I stopped using sniper rifles at all, it's much more fun than. And that Gnarly Trail Ranch is actually kinda easy, the trick is
to sweep the whole area "clockwise" from lower left to top left to top right to lower right, I made it under 6 minutes multiple times without any rush this way
but I understand it might feel impossible for the first try, I thought the same about getting couple of previous rewards and now it's just a piece of cake.
This game is fantastic, can't wait for the 2nd chapter. Any estimation on release date? In the meantime, there's still that achievement I'm missing for which I need to kill 450 Greywater mercenaries, so I'm on it..

I just can NOT seem to do this in under 10 minutes. the Heavy enemy in the top right corner always seems to cause trouble. What weapons are you using? i'm doing the silenced pistol for sneaking and clearing out enemys around the high value targets and the laser shotgun thing for battles with big guys...

oh, using silenced weapons in this stage is pretty useless. You don't need to sneak, you just need strong armor and powerful weapons with enough ammo. There are 2 or 3 supply stations for free refill so you don't have to save it too much. For those heavy enemies it's pretty effective to use grenades, I'm using plasma grenades. Yes, you've got only two of them, but they're pretty powerful. As a secondary I'm using Handful of Pain, which is equivalent to Pipe Bomb, just three times more. But I'm pretty sure that Frag Grenade will do the same job and you've got one more in comparison. For those heavy guys it's enough to hit them with 2 grenades and shoot a few bullets as a finishing move. As a secondary gun I'm using Knoge Lag-40 Viper, laser SMG with 10.0 fire rate and 60 ammo. If you don't have that one, definitely use Armach T2 Falcon, it's SMG with lower damage, but higher fire rate and more ammo. You need this these guns for close combat so no bullet is wasted from the distance. And finally, my primary gun for now is Huelta Wildfire T-5, laser assault rifle, but that's the one you'll get for finishing this stage with no deaths and under 10 minutes. I did it multiple times before with Armach AMR-7 Tactical, 3 stars assault rifle with decent damage and fire rate and 52 ammo. I believe you get it for flawless run through the stage Cannibal as far as I remember correctly. Anyway, for the Gnarly Trail Ranch it's all about brute force. Any weapon with slow fire rate (pistols, shotguns or sniper rifles) is pretty much useless cause they're low on ammo even though they're more accurate. Oh, and of course, there's Armor. Don't use those heavy armors like Assault Armor or Combat Armor. I know they're strong in health (150-160) and Shield (140-150), but your movement is decreased by 12 to 16% which is a dealbreaker. You need to move fast but also have enough health to be able to get hit a few times. For this stage I'm using Marshal Specialist Armor which is packed with 150 Health and 100 Shield but most importantly no movement limitation. So it's quite decent ratio for strong and fast. Well, so much for that. Those heavy guys are slow and they're not trying to attack you. When they see you, they'll stop and start shooting, so keep hidden and then throw a grenade, hide again, repeat. If you're fast enough to throw 2 grenades the better. If not, just hide and after that just jump out close to them and shoot them with a few rounds. Oh yeah, and don't forget those blue bullets ricochet, so do not hide in place with the wall behind you, otherwise you'll get hit. That's it. Piece of cake.
Remember my words, the stage after that have fast enemies with ability to cloak and they'll follow you anywhere you hide.
Those heavy guys in Gnarly Trail Ranch are nothing;) Good luck and let me know when you successfully finish this stage.

EDIT: One more important think I forgot: for success in this mission you need to eliminate high ranking enemies marked as "raid leaders", the red skulls on the map so they're your priority. Any other enemy anywhere but close to those guys is just distraction. I remember my map still full of red triangles as enemies when I successfully finished the stage by focusing on elimination of those important targets mostly. So don't waste your time on common enemies if they're not in your way. If they see you they'll follow you but only for a while. They'll give up eventually.

Thanks for the tips everyone. Much appreciated.

Just cleared it. But it won't let me progress to the next mission? I beat it twice and still no next mission. Do I have to get a high score too?? Give a man a break.
