Nope, the levels are scripted. Two of the levels are designed as a sort of race against the clock and have GC leaderboards. I think an endless or random skirmish mode could be possible and the devs might want to consider it.
Was going to buy it this morning by wohhh price hike. I know there were global changes to the prices of apps on the store, but this is a 33% increase £2.99 yes £3.99 no. Well it's on my wish list now though.
@pixelbite, so this is our answer to this?: The Gameplay: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel ps. im still waiting super patient for that game
Yeah that extra pound increase is terrible Come on fella, if we all waited for price drops we'll get more freemium games. Its a great game, well worth supporting. Its 'one pound' As for the levels i prefer the scripted ones rather than arena battles etc, having a story to some of the levels is great
Use button not working Great looking game, BUT... I can't get the use button or pause button to work at all. Stuck on first level as I can't get the bridge to activate because of it. iPod 5
Looks like Shadowrun Returns - turn based combat + dual stick controls + a pinch of Metal Gear Solid.
I agree though that I'm very happy with the price for the content still. But I'd like the Dev to consider an endless mode or and survival one or something. Just so there's something replayable that changes.
Shadowrun Returns (minus) Turn based combat. By the way, there is no stealth kill? I got pretty disappointed...
I wouldnt be disappointed by this. Its a great game, loving playing this so far. Hope its well supported so we get more
after reading through the whole thread here I decided to buy the game as well even though I'm not a fan of dual stick shooters. I mean, I like shooters, but 1 stick is preffered, e.g. Meltdown or Beat Hazzard (one stick gameplay mode). But as a fan of Pixelbite and owner of all their games this is a must-have title for me. I need to finish two other games I bought yesterday so I really hope the price will not drop before I'll get a chance to get my hands on this one. Anyway, I'll support Pixelbite as long as they keep bringing premium games of the highest quality like before. I'll be back with the impressions about this game soon I hope.
I just played it a little bit, but the controlling feels really good. Can't wait to play it some more. It also has a appealing look.
