Looks awesome, interested to know how long the game will last though. It's good to know additional content will be coming but anyone completed Whats out yet and know how long it is? Also Dev I know you said you don't know what you'll be doing with future content yet but any idea on replayability? Will there be random/endless mode or anything or is it a mission system you just complete each level to beat the game?
Yep i would also like to know how big the game is. I mean it looks great. But like before i have bought many games that were too short and even though the devs said they will be updated that never happened.
I can't say anything about the full length of the game but you can replay each mission as many times as you want. The incentive for this is to get a good rating on the mission as well as to get different loot as the reward. You are given a choice of loot for each mission, guns/armor/grenades, and you can only pick one. It's a slightly grindy way to acquire items but there is no uncertainty of random drops and the gameplay is so fun that each run through the level feels fun. The levels themselves are fairly long too. As for the promised updates, Pixelbite followed through on a fantastic update schedule for Repulze, growing the game by leaps and bounds in each update. If this game sells and rates well then I have no doubt that they will want to grow this franchise as well.
I've got an iphone 4s, just playing it now. Seems fine Done the first level, really impressed, its not like some arena shooter, so far its lots of great small missions/tasks to do. Very impressed
I'll go grab it now through iTunes then. Thanks for the heads up EDIT: works fine on my 4S too. Played the first mission and everything went just fine. Will play more in a few hours
Been constipated for the past few days. Finally had a movement this morning AND found this gem while sitting on the crapper, today's looking pretty good!
Seen a few inquiries here about the game's length. Has anyone completed it and if so, how long did it take? Edit: is there gore and blood?
My other question on top of length is will the game have to remain installed for the other episodes to continue? I don't want to be locked into keeping a game installed for months waiting for further episodes. If it saves to the cloud and I can just reinstall, that would be awesome... Any indication anywhere of how this would work (or dev want to confirm)?
