    Modjular,
Trading is the spine of any good space game, and as you can imagine we're fans of the genre... from Elite (the original one) to Privateer to GoF to X-Beyond the Frontier. Thing is, you can go super realistic and complex, and do a stock market kind of model, and yes it will be realistic, but will it be fun? We're not sure: with Space Legend, we tried it all, from floating stock prizes, to proximity to closest market and plusvalue... you name it. And the *simpler* we made it, the more fun it became, and the better the feedback from testers was.

I do agree there's a ton we can do to make it better. We're not Microsoft, we're just a 26-people studio crazy for space games. Here's what's coming soon:

    1) Next week: revenges, so you can use your combat fleets to exert revenge on those pesky pirates who loot your cargo. That's on update 3, coming Wednesday if all goes well.
    2) In the next update (2-3 weeks), Alliance quests, which is basically what you describe: The full alliance receiving a request from the game ("transport Diamonds to Volcore") so all members must cooperate towards the goal and each one takes a different role in the quest, from transport fleets to escorts and battle fleets.

Of course, we're super happy with our results and your feedback. We hope together with a supporting community we can make this game, quite simple, the best space MMO on mobile.

By the way, shameless promotion plug: go to our facebook page, give us your username, get 25 stars! And remember to take advantage of the 20% off on all ships as we celebrate Thanksgiving and Black Friday!

    See y'all in Space!

Could anyone tell me how the double credit battle card work? I used it in my battles but not seen more credit coming. And even when I upgrade it there is no additional benefit?

If your phone rings or the game crashes, you automatically lose your game # The game should pause or not penalize you for this action. Otherwise the game is currently not loading... maybe something is wrong with the server.

    Loving the game so far!

    Some questions:
    - should I be protecting my cargo? What's the risk of not doing so?
    - passengers seem to give low returns vs cargo, am I missing something?
    - does speed get me to other planets more quickly?

    Canada, Eh?
Played for about tonight and am enjoying it. Have two questions myself that aren't covered by the FAQ

1 - is range cumulative? For example if I add a ship with 1000 range to a fleet that has a single ship with 500 range will the fleet have a range of 1500? Or does it take the highest or lowest range of the ships in the fleet?

2 - is there any way to move ships between fleets? I've tried the fleet status screen as well as individual fleets/ships when they're landed on the same planet but can't seem to find an option

    Thanks for the input :)

You can be robbed if you do not protect your cargo. You will lose 1 cargo or 1 passenger per transport ship.

Passengers seems not worth it at the moment.

Higher speed means you move between planets faster.

    1. Range and speed seems to be average of the ranges and speed of all your ships in the fleet. So in your case the new range will be 750.

    2. No there is not at the moment. Same for pilot so make sure you choose the right pilot for each fleet role.

Thanks - any idea how I add cards to a fleet? Tried but not succeeded

Hehehe lots of activity. Answers for everyone below! For these life-or-death debates, remember you always have us at [email protected]:

    mojojojo82,
To add cards to a fleet just tap the cards icon on the hangar (on the right side of the screen) and follow instructions there. There's two buttons, one to manufacture cards and another to browse them.

    Rumsolaz:
YES, range is the average, and you can't move heroes or ships between fleets (made the UI too complicated)

And about Cargo vs. Passengers, each offers different risk/rewards: passengers is less risky as you spend no money upfront, but of course gives less return. Cargo makes more return but you need to invest.

BTW, final hours of our Black Friday promo in case you want to beef up on ships! Do not miss this opportunity to save 20% on any ship in the game.

You have to remove the cards first before adding new. Each fleet can carry 3 cards maximum at this stage.

    Also a couple bugs:

I upgraded my Claymore's life and it's still showing it as level 1 and total life didn't change although the items needed to upgrade it did change.

I've had my Banshees sit there getting killed by the spindly explorer because its weapon range is just a bit longer and they don't fight back.

Hi, Xandrak, it's seems that you just found a couple of bugs! We'll have a look at these 2 ships in general, but it would be really helpful if you could email us some additional info to [email protected]

Additionaly, since you lost your credits when trying to update your ship, we can give them back to you.
    The infos that we need:
    - your username
    - your device model
    - a short description of the problems, with all the details you can remember

This would help us fix the problem for every other player, so thanks a lot!

    A possible bug:

I had a shipment of 23 Jade that had been transported ~30mins, and landed the fleet at a planet that had more Jade. My shipment was worth about 500 per unit, but I accidentally bought one more Jade (the cargo limit was 24) from the shop instead of selling my shipment. This caused the price for the entire shipment to reset back to 250 per unit as if it was brand new

    Username is Xandrak

The battle happened multiple times in that the Banshee stays at a range it can't attack but the opponent can attack. Most noticeable against the explorer that is long with protrusions (don't remember the name).

The level up was for a Claymore and the stats aren't any better after leveling up either the health or damage.

    Using an iPhone 7

Played a fair bit now, really fun, but some suggestions:
    - once I've maxed out $, the game starts to lack an end point.
    - I can have trade fleets or attack fleets... but why would I mix them? A trade fleet can never defend itself above a certain level. Suggest there should be a way of making a defensively viable trade grouping.
    - the attack options needs a bit of paper-scissor-stone action. Perhaps skills that counter other skills?

Overall, a more dynamic attack system (perhaps pvp like clash royale?) could help, as would perhaps the ability to capture ships on attack - that gives a degree of difficulty, and a reason to be careful - though that might kill the freemium aspect.

Other things that could be interesting - taking and owning planets / trade routes? More valuable trade routes further out, that take much longer to traverse.

    Modjular,
Weird as it sounds, the game is behaving as intented: plusvalue (profit) on sold goods is calculated from the last point of purchase. In your case, you bought that final Jade piece then sold it in the same place, so the profit is not existing...
We could change that behaviour, but we decided to do it this way as otherwise there were many exploits you could do to the economic system. We hope you'll understand.

    mojojojo82,

We'll pass your comments to the dev team, a lot of good ideas there. May I suggest you follow us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/spacelegendgame) and/or Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/spacelegendgame)?

Being an MMO in philosophy, our goal is to add new features as we grow, so the game becomes longer and more engaging.
This same week, if all goes well with the submission, you get update 3. Update 3 adds revenges, so you can forge rivalries. You also get a better shop so we can rotate the ships on offer.
On the next version, pre-Christmas, you get alliance quests, so your full alliance can embark and cooperate towards a goal.

    Hi,
thanks a lot for your comment, it helped us to find a bug we had with this specific card.

We fixed the bug, but we are also doing some design tweaks to the card, in order to make it more useful and clarify it's effects.
In short: the card will affect all your battle loot, not only that earned by destroying ships. It will have no timing. And you'll see the extra amount in the battle results screen. This will be ready in one of the next updates.

So, in next versions of the game, just launch the card and see how your credits multiply at the end of the battle :)
