That wouldn't be hard to implement, but we have to keep the gameplay balanced - I would think with permanent thrust you might die rather alot ?

Space Junk: A BIG Upside Down thank you

Thanks to the people on this forum and the guys at Touch Arcade for the support for Space Junk !

We're currently working through a list of comments and suggestions for another update - so keep them coming. We appreciate all comments to try and make Space Junk as playable and enjoyable as possible.

The more people that buy the game means the more we are able to add new content, game modes and features.

We're also furiously working away on a new RetroVex game which we hope you will also enjoy.

    Thanks again !

There have been some times when auto thrust would be great, like close to the ends of levels...

Maybe you could make it so that double tapping the thrust button turns auto thrust on, then tapping it again shuts it off? Kind if like the auto shot in space miner?

Just saw the other thread. Note to developer: it's a lot easier if you keep all your posts about one game in one thread, that way there aren't a bunch of different threads to sort through to find info and it's also a forum rule. ;)

    Auto thrust

Flameon auto thrust was actually in the initial spec. I think we were so happy with the controls that it got neglected. Personally I would love to get it in the next update.

Syntheticvoid That is close to how we wanted to do it. Auto thrust would be enabled in the control set up, and then in game it would be toggled on and off by hitting the thrust button. So, hit thrust to start thrusting and hit thrust again to stop thrusting.

Over to you Greg the coder!

Would love some more 'Vectrex' styled games. Just come back from a retro show in the UK and having played on a proper Vectrex i want more and more ;)

Big fan of Space Junk, cant wait to try their next game when its out

Do wish someone (or yourselves !) could do a vector version of Scramble. Stunning game on the Vectrex.

Anyway look forward to the new game, cheers

Ahhh...but tweaks to scoring now mean that after maxing it out, instead of 1000 points earned you get 10,000 points. Just need to turn points into cash.

    Right...back to work.

    Scramble

Yes! I loved Scramble on the Vectrex - I would certainly love us to do a version of that. Another Vectrex favourite of mine was Berzerk. It would be nice to do something with that too and expand on it. I love the idea of doing Vector versions of classic pixel games. Anyway, better not give too much away. :)

I just found out about this game in a comment on a Kotaku article. Somehow I missed the "close look" article on TA back in September. At least I found it now. I just played the first two levels and holy crap is it awesome! Great work! I look forward to what you come up with next.
