You know a game is ass kicking when it's own creator can't even beat it hehe. I have a question. Why did you decide I use ammo to break open the boxes? It sorta annoys the crap out of me. And no I'm not starting some huge complaint. I just want to know why. I keep running out of ammo. Too bad we can't obtain a crate opening crowbar. Billy
Yes you can, it's there, it's just not infinite. Check the attached image btw, got it on my second run. I guess the game thought "hey, you suck at this. Here, have this crowbar to help you out"
Portrait is great for phone games in my opinion. I could be wrong but based on my experience I think you could see enough of each room in that orientation, as much of the screen is taken up by walls and the "outside". And your option to move the controls where you want works out perfectly along with that anyway...and I was thinking a tad bit of zooming in wouldn't be so bad.
I see it on the App Store but the page for it won't fully load... Edit: Nevermind, it's good now. I think I'm gonna get it...looks fantastic.
What a true gem. Beautifully executed. Don't rlly know what else to say. I'd give it 6 stars, if I cld, along with All is Lost. Wow, whatta week!
Prolly gonna catch some flak for this, but I'm just not feeling the icon. Someone prolly already said how great it is. Lol
I like the fact that he used part of that cool intro picture in the icon. Maybe he could zoom it out...
Agree 100%, would love portrait on iPhone for this. After all the other games I've seen portrait oriented, this game seems like a no brainer and probably very easily accommodated. Let's hope for it.
Can any one buy it right now? I tried to get it now and it says the item is currently being modified please try again later Nvm. It's working now.
I agree with pjft: more saves per level would be nice, after opening a door for example. How long is each level? I haven't been able to play much, but I'm pretty sure it's not 5 minutes. EDIT: well, I just got to level 2 and it was 5 minutes to clear level 1, so I guess it's not that bad. In any case, saving after each door would be great for ultra-short sessions when you're constantly being interrupted by children, phone calls, etc.
Well I got to the end of lvl seven and stepped in some muck...lol. Fun game and well paced. I like that a lot of times you'll be limping along and then you'll stumble on a load of health at a medbay, etc... I didn't try the mechanism that teleports you back to an earlier point. Not sure what this is about because if your health Is low you won't find any new health backtracking. What am I missing? Do the health and enemies regenerate? I do hope the v stick will be CONSIDERABLY smaller for the iPad. No need to have inch of dead space between the arrows. Hats off to the dev...really nice work indeed!
iTunes doesn't let me download Space Grunts on my PC, I should re-buy it. EDIT: now I don't see it anymore in the store... Well, I'll wait better times. No, Space Grunts is turn based.
There's something funky going on with the App Store in general. I bought and downloaded Adventures of Mana on PC and it still showed a price-tag on my phone, as well as not loading the app description. These problems have been around for the past 24 hours.
Not showing for me in the App Store either. Lame. Anyway, what's the replayabilty with this one? Any stats or permanent upgrades or different weapons/abilities/characters?
read that clearing the app store cache might help. and for most this direct link seems to work: https://itunes.apple.com/app/space-grunts/id1018002876 as for replayability: unlockable characters, permanent collectible datacards and stats on progress, fav consumables, fav weapon, most-killed-by, average "run" time, etc. come on.. just try it!
