I'll admit, my hopes were really high for SE:CA. It's just that I had a totally different idea of what this was going to be when I first started it. Don't get me wrong, I loved every tense, beautiful minute of it. And I am very happy with what Mobirate Studios have created here. In fact, I'm glad this turned out to be something I wasn't expecting. But if you're thinking weapons, upgrades, even metroid-style maps, well, there are none of those things. And that's just fine by me. My total play time was 50 minutes. It was short but very sweet, and there was a hint at the end that there was more to it. Either because I didn't find all the "special objects" or there is a sequel planned. Either way, it was a very special treat. There is replayability in my case too, without spoiling anything. I'm looking forward to playing through again to see what more there is. I know what I need to do now. Headphones make this even more amazing.
Watching Red Ribbon's vid, this game has a distinct "Another World" vibe to it. I would hope it'd be a lot more than an hour play through though.....now if the Devs mentioned continued updates, that would be a reason to dive right in (wink, wink)
I'd say go for it, chief78. I'm very glad I did. Like I said above, there is replay value (at least for me) and it's a high quality game. Well worth the asking price. That's just my opinion though. I don't want to steer you wrong
Love this game, but who else here is a bit frustrated with the controls? The left and right arrows are so small lol..
Aw, you should add 'reset/ delete save progress' feature in the next update, I'm too lazy to re-download a game.. Need to save some data package
Though i'm not through yet with all my games , i already know, this is my GOTW. Graphics, colors, sounds, atmosphere...everything is just top-notch. Had not one problem with the controls, either. JCho's little flaw in post 39 made it even more intense for me. Actually, i was awaiting more of that. The only flaw, you guessed it, way to short. Looking very forward what will follow as a continue. Congrats to this pearl ! Edit: seeing red heads already - gladly pay another "cup of coffee" for new levels
