Hello all, My new game Space Bounties Inc. is going through Apple approval and should be available next week for iPhone and iPad devices. Space Bounties Inc. is a strategy game where you recruit bounty hunters to capture or terminate dangerous fugitives. FEATURES : * Procedurally generated content so each new game is unique. * Bounty hunters and fugitives are created on each new game with different health, attributes, weapons and abilities. * Procedurally generated space locations including planet surfaces. * Buy and sell equipment at the base. * Loot minerals, money and alien relics on bounty missions. * Upgradable character attributes, weapons, armor and equipment. * Advanced and flexible turn-based combat system. * Three game difficulty levels. * Save (automatic) and continue later at any point in the game (even during battles). * Starting tutorial and in-game help through all sections.
Not sure about the game play since nothing much in that regard has been shown. But I do like the artwork. Pixel art with cartoony and cute style. Looks great and good luck with the release
Thanks. Yeah, it is tricky showing game play with strategy games. The characters and effects all animate and characters move when performing melee and projectile attacks. There are screen shakes and flashes when using grenades against enemies. Also, characters rotate when damaged. Not a massive feature but it all adds to help the atmosphere
Do you fight in small arenas or do you move through the rooms , clearing them as you go? Also, what is the price of the game? The artwork lots absolutely fantastic! Thanks
You go through a set amount of levels for each bounty mission so you battle in small arenas. On the higher difficulty bounty missions the levels are longer. The price will be $1.99 and there is no IAP in the game.
Thanks There are 25 bounty hunters and 50 fugitives. There are also 57 "associates" which are gang members of the fugitives. So there is a total of 132 characters in the game. Bounty hunters will have 2 different weapons combinations which are different for every new game campaign. In terms of quests the game has bounty missions which are like quests. Each bounty missions has a set number of levels. There are 50 bounty missions in total (for 50 fugitives) spread across 5 difficulty levels. For items there are the following equipment categories : Enhancements - used to boost bounty hunter stats. Grenades - used to attack enemies (enemies also use grenades). Medical - used for clearing negative effects (on stats) and healing. Devices - used for teleporting (when in trouble), discovering enemy abilities and capturing fugitives alive. Minerals - can be looted from bounty missions and sold for revenue. Alien relics - rare special items that can be looted from bounty missions and used by the bounty hunters. Bounty hunters also have armor as well as weapons.
Ohhhh this looks good Reminds me of the old classic Rebelstar and Laser Squad back in the day (One of the early games before X-Com)
Thanks I remembering playing X-COM for over 20 hours when it first came out on PC. It was the "just one more go to try and get a high-level alien for research tech" that keep me going. I actually prefer the first X-COM to the latest modern version available.
Me too. Though I have to say, for a mobile game, Rebelstar: Tactics on the GBA was a lot of fun! I can't wait to play this!
