Hi, I've always been sort of curious as to how source codes work, I know you use them to somehow get certain apps but I've never been sure as how to use one, and can a non dev use them?

Any thing will be appreciated, sorry if it's not very clear .

Yeah if someone uploads a source code somewhere it's just so anyone modify the program/game/whatever themselves before compiling.

Ya, I know that but is there a way to actually put it together, make it a real app so you can use it and be able to read all the codes in the actual app?

I guess if you're talking about apps specifically you'd just need the SDK but I'm not 100% on that...

Well basically what I'm trying to say is that I'm trying to learn a little bit about developping (just in my spare time, probably will never be able to make an app) and I want to be able to have a source code and actually use the app the code portrayes so I can feel how the app functions and be able to read the files, should I post the code?
