Every fighting game would be a great candidate. Once that support comes, we'll see thousands of fighting games getting released and the ones that are already on the AppStore, updated. I'm sure Capcom, Namco and co will take iOS really seriously for once.
ok then no,i wont buy it since not full screen for my 5 lol its 15 USD and not optimized for 5 yet thats funny,i really wanted to buy it but no way
i just sent an email to namco about next update for fixing iphone 5 screen so wait and see whats their replay!
pffff and no replay!!! why? i really want to buy this game,it does'nt matter how much it is,i just need it....
I have played Soulcalibur on an i5. Beat the arcade many times easily, and I'm not that good of a fighting gamer. Unless your thumbs are abnormally short, you won't have any problems with controlling.
I've been looking at my iOS fighting games and installed a few of them earlier, and this is definitely one of the best. SF titles have an edge of having multiplayer though, so I was wondering if namco ever thought about updating with MP, or maybe even release a later sequel with MP. I think even PSP's Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny would be aces on iOS, and with the heavy character customization it has in it. ...Or just release Tekken 3 and above for iOS.
Tekken 3 with multiplayer would be awesome! I'm trying to get broken destiny arcade version to work with Gridlee... But it's not happening. And Tekken 3 arcade is choppy, even with speed hacks maxed out. But I'll buy these no doubt if NMCO decided to release them.
Just picked this up on sale. Says no iOS7 support but seems to run fine on ip5 and ipad 3. Man, this game is GOOD!!! I've kept Blades of Fury on my phone to scratch the 3D fighter itch but this... I'm not even a fighter player but this is so dang fun! A bit daunting with so many moves per character. I added a AG button to make throws a one-touch affair. I'm hoping I can get through Arcade mode and unlock a few more characters. Any tips for a newbie are welcome . The ABK button in particular has me perplexed.
Well its on sale atm and i bet you guys already knew it: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=210143 i sent an email to Namco and ask them about is there any upcoming update for fixing iPhone 5 widescreen support? cause i really want to purchase this app and yes i've got an email: thank you Namco for my responce besides i did that for Capcom in the past
How bizzare is this, after heading to the AppStore I decided to re-download this game to see the widescreen support. So anyways, I downloaded it again... Took about 5~8 minutes. Then the little icon in the AppStore didn't day "OPEN" but instead displayed "UPDATE" How weird, as I already downloaded from the store! But anyways, I decided to press update.. And it downloaded the "update" in about 30~45 seconds. Prior to pressing update... It said "you already own a previous version of the game, so it will be a free download for you" BTW, update is great! No black borders like SF Volt.
I've experienced this several times since iOS 7. It happened with the 3 games I downloaded in the first 24h the update was released.
Anything new with this game? I wonder if they will update to the newest iOS with MFi and newest iPhones.
