Having come from HC, are the heroes exact copies? If so, can you shed any light on which heroes might be most important to put effort into?
No, they are not exact copies. Some are close, like Flora is similar to Chaplain in HC, Ember is Ember (lol) and Gale is pretty close to Shadow Leaves in HC. The skills are slightly different though as SH Ember has an AoE ult and Flora has a blinding skill which their counterparts do not have in HC. I'm not too far in and only have the starting heroes so can't give anymore input. But so far there's a lot more difference between SH and HC heroes than I thought there would be which is refreshing.

So now I am on heroic chapter 4 and normal chapter 5. But.... I can barely make any progress now lol. I am going to pretty much have to sweep 10 a lot of stages to try and level up and get materials before making any progress.
The difficulty seems to have ramped up in the campaign. Heroic 4-3 and the middle of chapter 5, normal, are bottlenecking me. Upgrading is a slower process now that party level advances more slowly and gear upgrades come in parts.
I dont think there is any advantage but if you need more than 5 of something you might as well do the 10 sweep because you still probably wont get all 5 you need.
I'm in the #1 ranked guild right now and doesn't appear a point to be in one at this moment until dungeon raid takes effect... I also read somewhere that there are only 30 heroes right now but they are planning on a total of 80 or so heroes so whichever is most powerful may change soon... Edit: forgot about the mercenary camp in guild which allows you to hire heroes and also gain gold from having your heroes dispatched
Where do you find the server info? I'm part of guild Overlords. Id# 10028 (45/50 spots) - just need to be over level 32 to join I believe but no idea what server we're on...
We must be on different servers. I don't see overlords anywhere. But to check your server, completely close the app. Upon restarting, when prompted with the "play" button," look to the lower left. One of the buttons there will list the servers and allow you to toggle between them. You can actually start a new account on a new server while there.
Aaah. I'm on server 001. Wish in the end had started on a server with all new players (not sure if possible) because there are lots of players with full 5 starred teams...
