That counters the fireball which would otherwise burn you to a crisp. 2) Touch the door but yank your hand back when it starts to flake. Cast fAL to counter the petrification trap. 3) Open the door to see an 'empty' corridor. 4) Cast TEL to reveal the next door and a message thereon. 5) Cast RES (for which you will need one holy water) and pour the resulting holy water on the final door. Open the door, gain 2 MAX stamina, proceed into the tower. Ending question: Has anyone got a detailed map-out of our friend from S3, Spoiler Aliazi ? Does your character have to be male? In particular, is it possible to Spoiler At the end, have Aliazi go invisible, accompany you to the archmage's study, then steal the crown off his head? I realize I probably can't get all that, but it'd be nice if SOME of it were possible. Another miscellaneous question: I thought the beacons destroyed the Baklands in S3. Right, done some experimentation at the rat races, and have found a way to always walk away with more money than you started with: Spoiler You'll be given 5 races before being given a race with a too high stake for you. You'll always win the second and fifth races. This is how I afforded the slightly underwhelming cutlass.
Something about Zes spell: Spoiler I just found the tower of hourglass at the left of the map, one option is [uncrew the hourglass] which I guess is to remove the ability to cast Zes again. It seems doing this won't have any positive effects.
The secret library: Spoiler In the wheat field at the left of the map, there 's a tower ruin and examine the right side of the ruin. A secret room lies beneath it and in the room we can find a clue about the method to enter a secret library. However, where is this library?
New spells: Spoiler SOB: found at birdman's nest outside the city, cast a spell and spell this will summon a snattcat( invisible tiger), requires its teeth. TOP: found at the cat tower left of the map, create a tower. PUR: summon cats? Any other new spells to be found?
the sphere room At the left side of the map, a tower only a sphere in it. What's the spell here and how to counter it?
I'm not sure. You can cut the sphere open with raz and there is a skull inside but beyond that I'm not sure what to do
It's a vital spell/counterspell pairing to know. Hint: There is a tower in the other college that has this puzzle the other way around (ie, Spoiler you had to cast the spell that is already in place here ). The spell here relates to a skull... does that bring anything to mind? The Spoiler counterspell is available to cast but needs an item. Complete spoiler: Spoiler The spell here is TEL and the counter is YAZ.
Taking your questions one by one: You will find the Spoiler library just past Spoiler Flanker in the Tower. All those spells were in earlier parts (S3, S1 and S2 respectively). There's Spoiler ZOB from S3 but unless you have a rare and heavy item from S3 Spoiler (Rock Demon tooth) , you can't cast it in S4. There is also Spoiler TAR in the TAR tower , but I can't find anywhere to cast it. Hint: Have you won the game yet? If not, try to win without saving Spoiler Flanker () and pay careful attention to the spells Spoiler embedded in the crown . That will hint about the spells. Anybody know where the dLM (or confused/muddled) tower is found? Is it the Spoiler arguing two headed philosophers tower?
There's a typo in the post but I assume you need Spoiler DIM not DUM ? Hint: It is one of the towers near the entrance to the Western college. Feeling happier? Spoiler: Spoiler It is just north of the entrance and has a red roof. It fits between the tower of Cats and the Sleepless Ram tower. You can't cast the counter but the spell is DIM.
I destroyed the tower at the beginning. and found a monks robe in the ruins. Is it recommendable to destroy this tower?
I don't know. In every play through I found the Spoiler tower was already destroyed when I got there. How did you destroy it?
Spoiler First I searched the ruins and found the robe. Afterwards I climbed the stairs, stepped to the edge und took another step. Then I reached a trapdoor, pushed it open and I found myself in an intact tower with a beacon. Approach the beacon, look over the edge and speak to the figure. Then you can smash the beacon and the tower is in ruins again
Another question: Spoiler The trader in the Hoofborn-village sells an unbreakable spear for seventy gold pieces. Is there a way to get this much gold pieces at this point?
