Flanker Apparently my character can dream and call out to flanker at some point? Is that when I sleep near the fire outside the barracks or is there another incident I'm missing?
What a ride! I completed the game with Yb'ran as god and Spoiler he got me rid of the curse of Throben. I could not believe about the Spoiler 'gay' option with Flanker... and at the end I got a curious statement Spoiler 'but you changed everything' , as well as a Spoiler one time rewind and a different save game than my usual. Maybe because I finished 11 slots? . Anyway, I still could not meet properly Spoiler Aliizi . She was at Spoiler at the Tower of Doors, but did not appear at Molka's and I never heard about her anymore . Also Spoiler I do not understand whether there is a role for Farren Whyde or his is just a cameo Anyway, the more I play this game the more my respect for Inkle in this adaptation grows.
I'm not certain, but you may need to show Molka Spoiler the bronze ring from the skeleton in the Tower of Doors. It belonged to her husband. I have always done this, and always seen Spoiler Aliizi/Briarpatch as I leave the house.
I believe it can happen any time you sleep inside Mampang. Dreams seem to be somewhat randomized. You will hear a rich voice and have a choice of what name to call out. Flanker will make a comment that foreshadows something later in the game...
More excellent stuff Just "finished" the game for the first time with the least satisfying version of the ending and looking forward to improving on that and even going back through Sorcery 3, changing some things and exploring more possibilities. Being the completionist, curious type I did find the lack of rewind frustrating at times but the change was explained well and understandable. Also, in timely fashion, I just Spoiler explored the lanes to the east after collecting all the spells in the potion (again). After finding the dome therein and the Libra save portal I can't even complain about that. I can now happily return to save my progress whenever I want - nice touch Inkle!
Hi, I've played the three sorcery games in this summer and I'm sure you've already found a lot of secrets even in 4. I wanted to ask, while I was exploring Mampang, Spoiler I slept in the building with the fountain, and when I woke up I got captured, this causing the archmage to have some suspect (previously he hadn't heard of me) After some spells, I got free and because I freed even the other prisoners, a birdman came a flew me to the top of the tower. I was super-excited, but I couldn't kill the archmage. He influenced me and trapped me, and when I got out he killed me and even my god, who I don't have anymore D: Have you discovered a way to beat him like that? Thanks if you respond me, but I'm just curious, so please don't post too many spoilers since I'm still experiencing the game!
Spoiler Though you can't return whenever you want, it's a one-time thing, you can't save there once again
The only way to defeat the Archmage if you go straight to the top of the tower is to have Spoiler the potion of magical dissolution containing the three spells which counter the crown . Basically, you can't face him without aid, but in addition to the solution in the spoiler text you will find several characters who can help you. You can also find at least two new gods to worship, if you lost yours.
Yes, good point. However, it was particularly nice to have just after I'd run around Spoiler collecting the 3 spells for the potion meaning I could more freely explore after that point. Thoroughly enjoyed working my way towards a most satisfying version of the ending now, great fun. Plenty more to play around with but I'm looking forward to new game plus!

(near) infinite gold at Effe's Casino The sequence is always as follows: Spoiler 1) Lose 2) Win +60 3) Lose 4) Lose 5) Win +60 6) Repeat previous 5 sequences, but the entry bid will always be +30 gold above your current sum, so you'll have to walk away and walk back to bet again. You can always come back as many times as you want (at least, >20) to claim your 120 gold per sequence.
You're right about the Spoiler Libra/dome/rewind connection. I just finished a game where I did not talk to her and despite several Spoiler dome visits, the rewind option did not present itself.
Wearing the Crown Has anyone uncovered an option to put the Crown on themselves, after defeating the Archmage?
I think I have always seen the option to wear the Crown. It may depend on whether you confront the Archmage alone or have certain companions with you.
