    You can:

    - Illuminate the entire bridge (needs 2 beacons) then climb it from the west side
    - Illuminate half of the bridge and climb one of the towers in the middle of the swamp/forest
    - Use a ZIP spell on top of the mid-southern beacon

As you play the game, keep asking around for the spell-lines to learn where to find them. The more you ask, the more you learn. Review everything you learned in the 'clues' tab in your item menu. Also, remember that this is the Sorcery! 3 topic, the Sorcery! 2 topic is here.

You actually don't need 2 beacons. Go to the western beacon in Forest of Snatta (the one across the water, just below the western end of the bridge), then angle it towards the bridge but spread out, in a wide cone shape. This allows you to climb the area of the bridge where you can meet Flanker, but you'll reach the top and can go west.

    Update

There was an update yesterday -- description said something about fighting the Air Serpent now as well as story improvements.

    Anyone notice anything different yet?

I've now managed to get a 5 day finish, killing all serpents without needing to jump in the lake. I'm missing a handful of magic ingredients compared to my 8 day finish: staff of oak sapling, pearl ring, brass pendulum, crystal tooth (and the ZOB spell), and yellow powder. I also didn't get any extra stamina.

No, you can only get one tooth. Flanker's sword
is at the very end, not in a hut, after defeating all serpents, on the Xamen road.

Anyone know how to complete the get eaten by ants and blow yourself up achievement?

I believe you need an Internet connection to save, but I'm not 100% sure.

If you have both apps installed and you want to carry your data say from 2 to 3, then click the option from sorcery 2 and it will load your game. But you'll need internet if you don't have the other. And of course you should have completed the other one.

You can go through all three paths (except Mantis Man and Monk) in Sorcery 2. My perfect run has silver chain, Flayer's Hut, and Dwarftown.

As said in the previous post,
you can pick the Flayer's scroll without rewinding and without missing the other essential stuff like the chainmail gauntlets. After going to the Flayer's house, you just have to cut through the fields where farmers are working, earning some gold by helping them and then you can proceed to Theetah's house. After exploring it, you end in the street which goes to Dwarftown.

I've been able to go for a 5-days playthrough with nearly all the items and nearly all Stamina gains
+5 to be precise. I only missed Flanker's sword but only because I didn't need it (the legendary one is enough for me) and I didn't go to Kariamma since I didn't get the Flayer's scroll. I fully explored Tinpang though and even met the Sightmaster.

I also managed a quick playthrough in 2 days by rushing through the Baklands while killing all serpents. Screenshots below.

My last objective would be to kill all serpents without activating any beacon, but from what I know and what I read on the internet, that seems impossible.

    You go to the
fields, but then backtrack down the center path and kill the corpse noble to complete his line. Then you head up to Theetah's house and Dwarftown from the central junction.

    What is your route?

For the 5-days playthrough, it's almost the same route as the one from Cheezzhead, but I managed to do it faster. For example, I managed to start my second day in Bria's hut, then I managed to do his second and third day in almost one day. Beside that, the route is identical until I killed the Earth Serpent. After that, I went to explore Tinpang, then back to Lake Iklala, then I destroyed the Air Serpent only after meeting the Sightmaster. To kill the Serpent of Time, I used three beacons (the island one, the one from the Baddu-Bak steppes and the one from the lake), before going to his isle and throwing the chakram at him.

For the quick playthrough, I managed to kill the following serpents during the first day: Time, Air, Fire and Earth. Then on the second day, starting at the base of the Tinpang beacon: Moon, Water and Sun.

Curious as to what items you missed. For example, assuming I have to skip the
Giant's tooth at the beginning. Skip the dice in the first cave as well? Lot's of decisions in this game.

Can you give more detail? Given the fact that it takes 1/2 a day just to get to Fishtail Rock I am having trouble seeing how this is possible.

    I didn't enter
the first cave, since the items available from it it either can be found in Sorcery 2 or elsewhere in Sorcery 3. I also did not go to the nearby steam holes to get the Giant Tooth Pendant since I already had a Giant Tooth from Sorcery 1. For the dices, I got them from the Black Elves. To do that, when you're in the Black Elves camp, go to the fire, say you are a trader, then that you are no pauper. They will consider you someone rich and you will earn more money when you play Swindlestones against the guy. Then when you leave their camp, after trading with Oolooh, they will attack you, first the guy then the woman. After killing them, search their bodies and you will found the dices. After that, to avoid being captured by the other Elves, simply cast ZIP to teleport outside the camp (assuming you got the Green Ring from Bria).

I does take only 1 day to go to Fishtail Rock or near it. Just cast fAL at the cliff, then jump, then go straight east. Day 1 should start around the tree or near Shadrack's cave.

Same here. I gave it a trial run last night following Cheezehead's walkthrough, and even skipping the whirlpool I wasn't able to reach Bria's until morning on Day 2. Then there was absolutely no way to combine days 2 and 3 into one. I skipped the Klattaman village because I got there too late, and I even tried skipping the Stranglebush, but even with no extra stamina it took 6 days. The only way I have succeeded in 5 is to cut out the northwest quadrant completely.

For the Klattamen village, I avoid it during the first part of the day. After the Seven Spirits circle and the Serpent of Time, I go directly to the pole with the priest. Then I let the bird grab me and after defeating the Fire Serpent and beeing taken again by the bird in the Stranglebush, I go straight to Fenestra. If you draw you path the smallest as possible, you can be back at the Klattamen village at the end of the day.

    How do you get the
brass pendulum if you haven't killed the Moon Serpent? When I get to the caravan, the crystal orb, rather than the pendulum, is what's for sale.
