Is it that simplistic? retr0spective Well-Known Member May 24, 2011 892 4 18 Riverside, CA #3 retr0spective, Feb 26, 2015 This looks very attractive, has anyone tried it yet/before? Duckster Active Member May 30, 2012 39 0 0 #5 Duckster, Feb 26, 2015 I don't usually just by a game on a whim but this looked fun. It's kind of like the game Uno, give and take based on the cards you draw and play on either yourself or your opponents. The goal is to just get to 1000 points. Once all the cards have been played the winner is the one with the most points, I won a game with - 100. The booster cards are unlocked through play as well as more opponents or you can pay .99 to unlock booster cards. You can choose your opponents at the beginning of the game however you are always playing with 3 others, no way to just play with 1 or2 if you wanted. The controls are just tap and drag and drop onto yourself or your opponent and the game plays in portrait mode. It's also based on a physical card game. I'm having fun with this, I like it. Thanks for your effort. markaman Well-Known Member Oct 28, 2013 112 0 0 #8 markaman, Feb 26, 2015 If this had multiplayer I'd buy it StarlitSkies Well-Known Member Apr 20, 2011 60 0 0 Stoke-on-Trent, UK http://www.lightwoodgames.com #9 StarlitSkies, Feb 26, 2015 The designers of the card game insisted that we did not include multiplayer, because a deck of Sopio cards already provides the multiplayer experience they wanted. It's small, portable and played quickly with friends. That's why we have offline play vs a number of AI opponent characters in the app. You can't do that with a deck of cards LordGek Moderator Staff Member Feb 19, 2009 12,026 6 38 Software QA Engineer Saratoga, CA, USA #10 LordGek, Feb 27, 2015 Do the different AI opponents have their own strategies? StarlitSkies Well-Known Member Apr 20, 2011 60 0 0 Stoke-on-Trent, UK http://www.lightwoodgames.com #11 StarlitSkies, Feb 27, 2015 They do indeed! Each of the 18 opponents has a different play style... so one of them, for example, just loves playing crazy action cards without paying too much attention to what might happen! To beat all of them you'll need to learn how to counter their individual strategies (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
