Loving this game! The graphics are presented at that magical framerate where everything feels rock solid and moves perfectly. The iPhone as device and interface to the game dissapears. I can't wait to get to the worlds that alter the basic gravity law premise of the first worlds!!! Five stars no doubt. The game is art in motion.
aargh! Does anyone else struggle with the Blue Coins II level, "Zooming Out"? I think part of the problem is my thumb is actually covering up my guy at certain critical points in the level.... and that I suck. p.s. to make sure i don't scare anyone off, this is the only level i think that it is possible to cover your character up in, due to its unique design.
Just rated the game five stars and posted a review in iTunes Maybe a lite version with tutorial and two levels with the second level from a world with a variation on the physics. I can't say if lite versions help sales but I just tried Meteor Blitz Lite and after tutorial and one level it was clear to purchase. Your game has the same excellent polish controls and gameplay and would've been a no brained purchase if I had played a lite version.
I'm trying to figure out if TouchFoo went out and got wasted last night to celebrate, drunkenly practising some of Soosiz's moves leaping from table to table over enemy bartenders and waitresses . They were regular posters here in the upcoming section, yet nowhere in this thread. Hope they sober up and start marketing this game to review sites like Toucharcade, Pocketgamer, IGN and others. Hope they can get in the Top 100 or Apple's Fav list. Hell if I were them, I'd try to get the game featured in Apple's app ads.
Hehe, we haven't gone anywhere. We've been doing some promotional work to get some reviews and and as much visibility as possible. We have also been reading this thread actively and all I can say is.. Wow. We didn't expect the reception would be this great. Thank you for all the awesome comments and reviews, and good job on pointing out the flaws! Now, let's just hope we can climb up the charts and make the game a hit! BTW. We are planning on releasing a lite version sometimes in the future.
wow playing this game too long makes me almost want to throw up! i got motion sickness from him walking upside down... lmao
Firstly, could someone clue me in on the pronunciation of the game? ( my thought is that it somewhere in the neighborhood of sue siz?) Regaurdless, based on Big Boy's review and the words of Arta and several others, I d/l this just now Ive not been able to play just yet (my d/l of the Gamelofts RPG seems to be having a debilitating effect on my device) but I get the feeling that $1.99 is a rather nice deal. More later
"Wooow" is a good word to define what I thought when I tried the game for the 1st time. It's really great to have pleasant controls in a platformer, all the others I played on iPhone are good but with annoying gameplay... So: thank you for the game
Omg Touch Foo this game is just mind blowing! Unbelievable! Great! You should count on my words(i'm a professional reviewer on games.ch;-)).
This game is pure beauty. It's an experience, I am totally in love with it. Saw a lot games on iphone, but Soosiz is really exceptional. Soosiz, iBlast Moki, Rolando 1/2, Ynth, Drop7, Unify, Crystal Cave, Azkend... My beloved ones
THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER. IT IS LIKE MARIO, BUT A MILLION TIMES BETTR. Seriously, I love this game.
seriously, it doesn't need plus+ to be amazing, get it while it's on sale, if plus+ comes later, great, if not, it's still one of the best games ever! Just take the plunge and put forth the two bucks, I assure you, it's worth five times that!
Well, finally got around to playing this game (bought it yesterday, I think), and... what the **** is up with the public domain Christmas music? Did you just download a bunch of MIDI files at random and throw them into the game, or did your composer pull a fast one on you?
Well the full list of major site reviews that matter are IGN, Pocketgamer, SlideToPlay, Appgamer, Touchgen, iPodTouchFans, Appvee and of course Toucharcade. Two sites that don't iphone game reviews per se, but do feature videos that focus on great iphone games from time to time are the CO-OP guy and Gametrailers. The former gets hardcore cred and the latter get a lot of views in general.
Touch Foo this game has Soooooo much potential of being the Little Big Planet for the iPod cause this has great physics that can be edited and be created so im guessing for the next update im not sure if its possible but can u guys and try to make a Level creator and online multiplayer? kinda reminds u of LBP huh? lol but seriously its really good i was astonished at first when i played it
I was wondering if I'd see some comments like this in this thread. I'm getting the same thing; I think it really messed with my head playing before going to sleep last night! It is pretty good fun, but I think I'll be playing it in small portions.
