You know, I love platform games, and I liked Soosiz, but I found it felt like a chore after a while and very repeatitive.
Yeah, I know, but there are people on this thread who have also said the same thing as me if you read through it. But there were many parts I did enjoy in this game. You know what I thought it was missing was lots of secret stuff and really cool power ups. But to each his own. Variety is the spice of life.
I still want to know about any upcoming content update, and any new game Touchfoo may be making. Also want to know if there are plans for holiday price drops to boost sales.
I hate the name Mario, makes me think of Italian pizza bakers, if they changed it to Soosiz maybe more people would buy it.
wow, this game really is great, but did you really have to make the last few levels so hard? I have like three left and it's becoming a chore to play. The rest of the game was soooooo perfect... i just wish the last stage had a bit more fun factor.
This is a super great game, but that is my problem with it. There are a couple levels in there that are just a chore and I did not want to push through them. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the name is hurting them. It would have been better to name the little guy and call it something like "X"'s Milkyway or Universe or something like that. Made up names kill products in a direct marketing environment
Hi all! I feel stupid asking this, but I'm stuck on world 7 level 7 before you get to the boss. I get to the first group of red buttons, jump on the correct one, then get to the second group of buttons again, jump on the correct one. Then I get to the part with the blinking platforms and for the life of me, I can't figure out the pattern to get through there. Any tricks on this part. Thanks
One of the platforms doesn't disappear. Find that one and you can take all the time you need to figure out how to continue.
It just takes a little work to get through it, hence the name. I thought the first part of it was much worse than the second. Where are you stuck and maybe I can talk you through it.
well i finally gave in a got it... very good choise i also got C64 (before it was pulled), Jelly Car 2, and ye old RPG that i cant spell
The sales have been pretty steady until now. Some Apple love in the US would help though. It seems like Soosiz has been featured in almost every country except the US. The new update was submitted a few days ago. In addition to some minor adjustments, it will add one new level for those who have collected all the gold medals. We also submitted the lite version at the same time. It will be interesting to see if it has any effect on the sales. Can't say more about future content patches for Soosiz yet, but I can say that we are working on a new game already. It is not the sequel but that doesn't mean there will never be one. On another note, here is a fresh review by appsmile.com: http://www.appsmile.com/2009/11/10/iphone-app-reviews-soosiz-a-truly-polished-platformer-that-leave-no-stone-unturned/ They will also host a promo code giveaway for Soosiz starting on Thursday. In case there is still someone reading who hasn't bought the game.
I'm betting that a lite version will help - if I had been given the first level or three of this game to play I would have immediately bought the full version - I just love the feel of the game.
