Soosiz is not the same as Gomi. The only similarity is the little round guy, but the gameplay and speed are completely different. Frankly, I found Gomi way too slow for my tastes.

That's the nicest thing I've ever read in Touch Arcade.

Yes, I find Gomi too slow too. Gets painful after a couple of levels. For this reason it's progressing at turtle speed on my device. Can't bear to play for more than 2 levels each time.

    Agreed.

It's just with the hopping from planet to planet and spouts, and the round guy, they really do look a lot a like. They don't play anything alike though! :)

Man you too? I thought it was just me! I like do a level or two and then phew need a break. Don't get me wrong its fun but it just moves slow as molasses. Got this instantly when I saw the release as I had been following the threads so can't wait to start playing!

Not until later since I'm at the office, but I've been waiting for this one. But you can tell from the initial impressions from others, this may address that itch that Gomi couldn't scratch.

I actually agree about Gomi. But my 2-1/2-year-old son loves it ;).

Omg, the game is like donkey kong vs Mario: march of the minis + normal Mario!

Wow, only $2.99 full price? Isn't that a little cheap for something of this caliber? Not that I'm complaining, but that sounds like a steal even without the sale.

this is genius. on par with the mario and sonic franchises. i wasn's sure how the level design would work, but it's just like playing the Super NES mario games, the levels are intuitive yet challenging, fun and just frustrating enough to make it worthwhile :D

p.s. expect to see this on an iPod Touch/iPhone television commercial soon.
