cool it seems you make more process than me lol next question, level 2, is there any chance to climb the stairs without using the star power??
Yeah, the rolling boulder-things come in groups of three, and you can jump over them. Just stand near the left edge of one of the steps, jump and steer to the right to clear the boulder, then move back to the left edge of the step again for the next boulder. After jumping over all three, you have several seconds to move up the stairs before the next set of three comes. It's pretty easy to time once you get a feel for it.
Argh... I finally managed to beat it, but i still maintain that this stage is almost aggressively spiteful, lol.
I HATE those big spike ball mother****ers with the revolving weak spots! How the hell did I do this the first time around? I must have been in the zone then with beginners luck cause now on my second playthrough I died like 20 times on the same two *$@#**$ even though I'm playing much more carefully now! Feel like 10 years old in front of that SNES again.

Is that the one where the world remains level but you can still walk on the sides and bottom and still get attracted to the platform? Fun but those spinning spikes mess me up.
How do you guys find secret areas? Do the clouds form arrows or pointing hands? Can you see it in the map? Are you doing a review on your site for it, then?
interesting, this one was very easy for me, finished it with the 1st try. world 4 (flowers) bc II was the pain in the ass for me
Just look on the map. Sometimes you'll see coins in a place you can't seem to reach, or a platform you can't jump to, but instead must fall off the edge of a platform to reach. One example is a springboard hidden behind a bush. You can see bits of red peeking out of either side of the bush, and if you jump on it you'll be catapulted to a secret area.
This game is a real artwork, the only thing it could possible miss is some more levels or a level editor, wich would be a great idea.
