I know what you mean, that's not a bad idea, I haven't taken the time but I need to start changing mine up as well... It's going to take A LONG TIME, I have at least 40 websites and other stuff and I use like 3-4 different passwords between them all.. Now I just need to change my name and move to a new house and I should be safe from this hardcore 19 year old god kid!

Or you could resort to the Battle Star Gallitica model and use old computers that aren't networked. :D

Someone really needs to make a parody song of "Mandy" by Barry Manilow.

    ♫ Oh Sony

We came and we trusted you
    With our personal information

    Oh Sony

    But then you got hacked
and now some 19-year-old knows where I live

    Oh Sony

If I told you I wasn't pissed, I'd be lying
Because you are partly to blame

    Oh Sony ♫

It's definitely a bitch this whole thing happened, I'm not gonna say Sony are perfect but I still honestly don't care that much. If someone's got my information it's among millions of other addresses and besides, it's really not hard to get peoples addresses anyway... pretty useless information on its own.

The credit card thing would definitely piss me off if someone actually got into my account and stole from me, but even then I think my fraud protection is pretty damn good and I probably wouldn't end up paying anything.

Latest update: Sony has revealed that credit card details held on its PlayStation Network were stored in securely encrypted files.

"In a question and answer blog, posted on the PlayStation website, the company said: "The entire credit card table was encrypted and we have no evidence that credit card data was taken.

"The personal data table, which is a separate data set, was not encrypted, but was, of course, behind a very sophisticated security system that was breached in a malicious attack."

Posting this mainly because I totally called the encryption. They're not that stupid.

I already posted that info. They know better than not to encrypt CC's.

I got one as well I've no PS3 however I know I signed up to it on my PSP once just wish I could remember what details they actually got. Definitely got not credit cards from me though because I only use prepay cards where I can get away with it.

Took them until today to send me the email though.

but it's more than possible if you ever owned a psp that's how.

It seems that Sony is evaluating ways to thank us users for our patience.

Thanks for sharing that Arta. I'm not going to sit here and say that I need compensation, nor do I feel I'm owed anything. As for the customers that pay for the extra services, well I can understand the need to be upset.

For Sony to have known about this for what, 2 weeks now? That is something however that pisses me off. Out of 77 million subscribers, you know how much money could've been taken in that short amount of time? That's the disappointing part, is that they knew and didn't inform their customers.

But on the other hand..I can't wait for it to be up and running to redeem my MK costume!:D
