That's generous of Sony to give away those games. I was expecting them to be those crappy minis. I'll get Infamous and either Dead Nation or Wipeout HD.
Never mind. I just changed the password. Now waiting for the email. The problem was that i had set my sign in to happen automatically and have it remember my password, so i didnt type the password in whenever i tried to sign in. So i typed it in on a whim and the change password screen popped up! Yea!!
Woops, I meant to type NA (North America) but I was in a bit of a rush Yup, it's the Canadda list too. I'm going to have to think about my choice. I have none of those games, since I only have multiplayer shooters and I've been interested in all of them except for Dead nation
I have all of the games on offer for the UK. I'm thinking this was a strategical move by Sony... if they chose bad games people would obviously complain, so the next best thing to do is chose the games people are most likely to own already. That way it gives the impression of Sony being super generous but cuts down significantly on how many downloads people will be making. Oh, and the EU list is the same except Super Stardust HD is replaced by Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty.
tried to get online to play inFamous last night (or download it at least) and the PSN Store was down. Lulz.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the online store is not up coz sony hasnt turned it on yet. They've only enabled online multiplayer since that was their biggest priority. Download store should be up in a few days too.
Luckily for me, I don't have any of the 5 games available. I'll get Infamous and Dead Nation, both of which I have considered buying in the past.
hey, i tried to sign in after receiving the email, but once i sign in it says "under maintenance". has the psn been taken down again or what? please help!!
There was an "exploit" of sorts where if you claimed that you forgot your password, all you needed to provide to change the password without knowing the old one were your date of birth and PSN ID - which are both tidbits of information that the hackers likely had access to when they gained entry into Sony's system. So I think they've taken it down to find a more secure means of allowing users to change their passwords.
