Why did they have to add the gangsta music at the end and have the slogan "step your game up", are they trying to appeal to black people or what?
Break-down of ad costs: $20 for the brown parcel paper and the colouring pens $200 for the camera $100 to hire the black kid $50 to use the black kid's bedroom to video the ad $10 for the Sony jacket $10 for the crappy music $10 for the basic editing
lol, nice one. Although I don't hate Sony and their products (I own both PSP and PS3). On this site I shall remain a iPhone fanboy, and on the PSPcrazy site I can be a PSP fanboy But you have to admit, that advert was pretty cheap. Apple would never do a thing like that.
Right on my mid-70s, early-80s, black panther, hippie enviromentalist, exploitation, flower child brother.
Ahahaha, they chose Paper Toss to attack. Of all games, Paper Toss. Is it just me, though, or when they showed gameplay, did the graphics look incredibly crappy?
of course they chose the most simple game ever. If they chose nova, they would have just made more people throw away their psp.
are you sure this is a psp commercial.....more like some kid attempting to look cool while being paid to convince people that iphone sucks even though he probablY has an iphone and not a psp. sony Fail!!! GIVES PSP A BAD NAME!!
LOL. Sony is not in position to attack anyone, so this new campaign comes out as a desperate attempt of trying to get the attention of kids who have iDevices. Funny.
Exactly. The marketing failure that is the PSP right now is just stunning. Sony could have stolen some of Nintendo's thunder if they'd announced a serious price cut, or even a US version of the download deal they're offering in Europe. Instead they use E3 to introduce...a commercial? Aimed at the iPhone, which is not really their competition. Simply stunning.
Aww man, I was just going to buy an iPhone to use as a phone and play some games, but I guess I'll just get the PSP instead. No phone calls for me. Honestly, why would they target the iPhone? I guess it shows the presence of iPhone gaming . . .
