universal app, 4.99, online multiplayer and sonic?!?! I think I'm in love. Even better it's coming out later this month.
it would be nice if this version allowed Cup play in multiplayer. Racing once and gong back to the main screen or the 'track select' is a bore. anybody can win one race, but who can dominate 4?
There will be local and Online Multiplayer, it is said so in the video. (Online via gamecenter (and OpenFeint was mentioned somewhere there too, so maybe both))
I've never heard of a racer having you play a full cup online. That's kinda boring. Anyway. There's a version of the game out on Wii, PS3, DS, and maybe Xbox. You can see footage on youtube to find out more on the game
I don't know many people that wouldn't rather take 15 minutes to play 4 races against the same competition, then 4 random races that have to connect and load over and over... it's the same concept as playing multiple rounds in an FPS, or sports games, or even to a further extent, groups that play online games together (like World of Warcraft and the like)... besides, one race is a crap shoot, a cup is a competition. It's totally a subjective opinion, however... still can't wait to play the game.
