Still amazes me that they are giving this away. It was just on sale for $.99 and even though the other Sonic games are popular, I'd be willing to bet that this game is one of, if not the, biggest selling games Sega has on the iOS. Bought it on day one at $4.99 and haven't regretted it.

LOL, it's the best kart racer on iOS (AND its free). It also has a solid 4 star rating on the AppStore.
Just turn the volume down. If you like kart racers at all, you owe it to yourself to at least give it a shot.
i was so shocked that this went free! sega never gives things away for free! i paid like $5 for this a month or so ago..but strangely.. #imNotEvenMad i guess because i NEED to have every sega app, their my childhood nostigila on my modern day adult toy. id be happy to pay $10 or more for their classics, the only turn off is fiesize, price isn't an issue at all..since most apps are $10 or less which is like not even a quarter of a pedicure ''but i want FLCKY DAMMT
This game is too good to go free. I bought it on the initial release sale (one of the rare times I've done that) for $1.99 or $.99. I don't play it a ton because I have so many games but it's really good.
I bought it last week for $.99 not expecting much. After playing it I couldn't believe what a good value it was. And then it went free! My wife and family members now have it and we spent last night doing multi-player. A great game, I actually feel guilty not for not buying it at the full $5. I hope SEGA will release another game like it because I will be first in line to buy it. I just hope they can make a profit on their games and don't resort to tons of IAPs.
finally got around playing this game... deleted within 5 minutes... hates the slider controls and i never liked "steering" with my ipod... plus there are like 9 characters only? yeah I'm not gonna play this one... way too stripped down for me

it WAS free, the free sale was for 24 hours with Apple's 12 days of christmas. Speaking of which.....does anyone know what today's freebie from apple is? I'm in the US so I can't get the 12 days of christmas app....
I think it went fre cuz the sale probably wasnt doing as well as they expected so they did it to put it higher in the charts which didn't work out much ergh I bought for 99c oh well gg
