It should be there. It won't be the first result when searching Sonic Runners but it is on the App Store. Edit: Whoa! Never mind. Looks like they took it off. I did some research and it is meant to be released tomorrow/tonight. Though it was up for a while today. No wonder the game is in maintanence mode right now. Ok, check back much later.
It's currently available in the Canadian store... Edit: who cares, it's under maintenance and doesn't work. And then I decided to read the first few pages of this thread and remembered I had previously downloaded and deleted due to the absurdly long loading times! lol
It's been out in the U.S. since way earlier today. I downloaded it an hour after the TA new releases post came up.

I know its ridiculous. I'm quite happy downloading all the files (what happened at the start ? Downloaded lots then) but the waiting times are ridiculous. Whats it doing ? Uploading something ? Downloading more ? Totally agree, the loading times are ridiculous
The load times and constant info panels aside, if there were a way to simply remove ads, I'd pay a couple bucks towards that. But as-is, getting an add after every damn run is just annoying. I won't delete this in hopes that an ad removal IAP is added. Otherwise, there's a fun runner to be had here.
Yeah same here. My young daughter (granted shes 5 !) was getting frustrated as she kept wanting to play it but in between levels kept pressing on the wrong buttons, facebook stuff would try to appear etc. She just wanted to play the game ! Be quite happy paying say $4.99 to get rid of the crap and ridiculous loading times
They overloaded this game with way too much f2p nonsense. There are so many menus, systems, tutorials, etc. It just sapped my desire to even play it right out of me. Also, the UI is so ugly. I think that played a part in it too, the text/font is in need of some serious kerning.
It's weird they refer to Dr. Robotnik as Dr. Eggman, but I looked it up and I guess Robotnik was only a English version thing. So this didn't really get localized. Been having fun with this, just can't get past the add spam.
I think it's trying to connect to server rather than actually loading something. As most should have aware that Internet connection is require for this game. From my observation I notice on every single page it will attempt to connect. So my guess it's while it require internet connection it's not always connected. Instead it attempt to connect every time you load into something be it your inventory into the game stage or what so ever. On a side note I don't have loading issue. It loads pretty fast for me. And I find the game pretty fun actually. But what really annoy the hell out of me is the in between force ads. It's a little overboard considering the amount of IAPs they already had in place. I totally agree with many that I am more than happy to hand a few bucks to get rid of those annoying ads if I have the choice.
He's been referred to as Dr. Eggman in all of the English Sonic games post-Sonic Adventure. It's been "official" since 2001 or so.
This game is the result of all the freemium money grabbers forcing the move to make constant Internet connectivity a thing. It's almost certainly trying to contact their servers between each screen. It's pretty annoying and I'm sure lots of people would rather pay for this game than get a free version that "loads" almost half the time.
This apparently helps stop hackers, I'm sure you know about the Modern Combat 5 controversy, considering hackers are still prevalent.
Oh sega,what became of you. A rather medicore game with endless loading times and ads. Sonic Dash was nice, but I deleted sonic runners instantley.
