But people seemed to like it anyway. So guess I'll give it a shot when it goes free. Of course, the file size for this type of game doesn't make my happy so not sure if it'll stay on my device regardless. Many feel it's the best of the Sonic ports to iOS. Although many don't share the same point of view, I thought Sonic 4 Episodes 1 and 2 were pretty darn good for getting the series back on track. But Sonic CD probably is the best of the bunch. SporadicMovement Well-Known Member Oct 24, 2012 50 0 0 #8 SporadicMovement, Dec 30, 2012 Sonic CD was the last good one in the series, IMO. Although I have yet to play Sonic 4. Gryphon Well-Known Member Feb 24, 2012 1,020 0 0 #9 Gryphon, Dec 30, 2012 It was rebuilt from the ground up for iOS. Hence why its better. sink_or_swim Well-Known Member Feb 4, 2012 3,504 5 38 Germany #10 sink_or_swim, Dec 30, 2012 Paid $2 for it, but I regret it. It's an average game but worth checking out for free CygnetSeven Well-Known Member Feb 6, 2010 7,596 33 48 #11 CygnetSeven, Dec 30, 2012 Agreed! I love the original just cause it's the first but CD is the best. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #12 syntheticvoid, Dec 30, 2012 YES! GET SONIC CD! It's by far my favorite Sonic game... And plays great on the iDevice. The time shifting mechanics are great... And the controls work VERY well. I thought Sonic 4 Ep1 was total junk... But 4Ep2 is... Alright. They seemed to learn a lot from ep1, and at least tried to make ep2 more like the old-school Sonics. But really, nothing beats Sonic CD. nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #13 nightc1, Dec 30, 2012 I figured with all the IAP this would go free at some point. I think it looks cool enough... Just not for money. PedroCst Well-Known Member Dec 18, 2012 256 0 0 Portugal #14 PedroCst, Dec 30, 2012 Wow, I've had this one for a while on AppShopper.
