Yeah, the graphics aren't too good on my wife's iPhone 4 and the framerate is quite choppy. The controls are less responsive too so overall it's a very different experience and I can understand why you're disappointed...
I just wish this game can generate more variety of enemies and obstacles similar to that of One Epic Knight. Throw in chaos emeralds and Super Sonic mode, then my life is complete.
I don't know what to do in the ninth mission "kill 10 crabheads with a ....sprint in the air" I don't know the english word for it, maybe someone can explain what I should do to get this mission
Im stuck in this mission too. I do have like 30% of it unlocked though, i dont know how. I tried dash attacking from the air but that doesnt seem to be it.
I think that's it, but you have to land right on them, landing in front then rolling through doesn't count. I don't know why I didn't think of this. Amazing.
Well I got it finished by landing on them with it as opposed to just in front in a spin. Now I'm wondering what homing attacks are but it seems to be getting completed.
Aren't homing attacks what happens when you see the big whale things during jumps and you have to tap on them to attack? I'm pretty sure those are what they mean...
That's exactly what they are. I had issues at first, I thought you had to swipe the whale/fish but a tap will do it.
I cleared this one by grabbing entire groups or lines of rings without missing any in the group. Like, if you see a line of 6 rings, getting all 6 counts as a streak. Or, at least, the progress bar filled up a little every time I did it. The most annoying mission so far was the Lose Your Rings 20 times. Took me so many tries... Does anyone know what multiplier level missions max out at? Do you still get missions after getting maxed out?
Lots of different opinions on this game, so I'll chime in with mine. It's fantastic. In case anyone was wondering, graphics and performance are perfect on an iPhone 4S. The sense of speed is dead on Sonic. I could do with some variety in the music area, which gets a bit repetitive run after run. But, after playing all of the others out there, AND being a sonic fan from my youth, this is why I've always wanted in a runner. Fast pace, variety in obstacles, and near phone throwing obstacle placement. That last one, you might be wondering why I listed it as a positive. I don't see this as a negative. The first time I get hit with one, its definitely one of those moments, but its also layered with determination. The idea that that ones not going to get me again. So every new run has me incredibly focused right out of the gate. There's no warm up period in this game. A cheap shot can be 5 seconds in, and I love it. Reaction time is more critical here than in any other runner I've played. And, it's Sonic. Sweet speed loving Sonic. The ring risk/bank system is awesome. I just wish <sigh> that the upgrade path wasn't so expensive. Love that the enemies move around, as they should. The different short, long jump segments are a nice random variety. They could honestly do away with the swiping mini game, and just let you opt for the ring bonus instead of the bank. I mean, who's going to screw that up? I just can't stop playing this. The just one more feeling is here in spades. With the mixed reviews, I was hesitant, but so glad I dove in. You don't have to be a runner fan. If you're a sonic fan, you're already a runner fan. This is the only runner I've played that feels like a natural fit. If you're not a sonic fan, I'm not sure the whole package will stick as much, but its still a very solid runner.
Haha, no kidding. The guys behind Subway Surfers really, really need to release a fleshed out game with controls that tight. I bought this Sonic game because I was so happy that they went with swipe rather than tilt (which needs to DIE already), but anyone who says the controls are as responsive in this game as SS needs a reality check.
and again I have problems with a mission. "Run through 5 corkscrews" what do I have to do to get this mission?
^ if you see the arch stages at the end of checkpoint, go there. After that, you will notice there are several kinds. There's a loop arch and a curve arch. Then there's the corkscrew one. When you see it, you will know. Thanks.
I was able to complete it using some red stars though I have tried without them before with no success.
Yeah, the 20 rings drops challenge was annoying, but I beat it. Then I thought the next challenge was getting to 1000 meters without collecting rings was even more impossible. However, it took about 7 runs for me to reach that goal. That was easier haha. Now I'm on the track to collect 8000 rings needed to upgrade one of stats to 5.
