Well something strange has happened because his site linked on the first page of this thread doesn't work and then video has been removed. I didn't even get to see the video

Well, I was sort of thinking it might be more good news than bad... I mean, I don't think there would be any reason to remove the video if the port was rejected, unless Sega requests it to be. I honestly believe that if they retitle this (may seem dumb, but I think it would make a difference...Sonic CD doesn't really apply anymore, and make it sound iDevice specific but NOT iSonic for God's sake) and Sega markets it correctly they could sell this at 10 bucks and have a top 10 title.
You're probably right. I have the Sonic game now that everyone hates, and I like it, but I have a 3GS so it's plenty fast. Did that hit top 10? And, BTW, I know this game will kick the emulator version's butt in EVERY way, just asking.
Believe it or not, I believe it did. Due to the fact that this emulator is (supposedly) better, one would expect it to produce an even more popular game.
Oh, I'm sorry. You're right...I thought that went without saying, but not everyone has our stellar taste, clearly.
It's either that, or it never seeing the light of day on the appstore and him getting no money, no recognition etc. I guess he could release it on the Cydia store for a small price.
If he releases it without Sega's blessing he will get sued in to oblivion, no two ways about it. Free or not free. Doesn't matter.
Haha I've been paying for some apps off of the Cydia store as of late. I will support those that turn out worthwhile and quality apps much more than useless $2.99 to $0.99 junk apps that are prevalent in the Apple approved app store. EDIT: BTW I am all for this title. Come on SEGA and follow through here, this one would be a winner if you do.
