I agree with those saying that this is the best Battleheart clone I have played. I bought a $400 ipad just so that I could play a $2.99 dollar game lol. I know it's crazy but I guess it's something that only those that have played Battleheart could understand. That Tree fight was hard. I like the difficulty. All of the BH clones have actually been too easy and BH wasn't that hard to begin with. I agree that the players do tend to get clumped up and I've died more than once because of it. I am playing the game on an ipad so I don't care if the user interface takes up a bit more of the screen if this problem could be addressed. As for the graphics, they actually look really tight and sharp on my ipad. If I had to make a criticism it's I don't really love the art style. The characters are kind of weird looking lol. I prefer the more cool and traditional Mage, Knight, Rogue, Paladin, etc... that you would find in traditional RPGs. Anyways' that's it for now, I am off to continue the adventure in Song of Swords!
Premium version was $0.99, even though I think we're still 12/20 App Store time. There was a free version in App Store too, which I grabbed since it was added on 12/18. Thought the dev might have split it out instead of pricedropping the other. But if that's the promo copy, I assume I probably won't get updates after it's retired, which is a shame.
Hello geoelectric. The version that was free until today was the FULL version dude. No ADS, No IAP, just the FULL version. We have added a lite version yesterday only, with a Try and buy module ("Lite version"). So don't worry, the version you got for free is the full version for which you will get the updates. Hello undeadcow, I have changed the price the 20st in the night. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we got 3 days back a mail from God all mighty itunesconnect (the devs platform) who said that there will be no movement, no updates, no new games, nothing, from the 21st until the 4th. Then I understood that Apple were overwhelmed by updates, new upload, prices changes because of Christmas. So I was a bit scared, and I changed the price a few hours earlier because of this. Thank you so much for your feedback concerning that. I am happy to get the opportunity to explain to you what we were trying to do here : I am french, and Anna is German. For us, "Asterix and Obelix" are the ultimate reference for comic. It shaped our youth. So we really wanted to get this style. Water color, rounds shapes, big nose friendly faces... And not the stereotyped korean/japanese/chinese kawai or "realistic" style. Nor the American comic style. We really wanted to bring Asterix and the french school of comic into a RPG here and do something original. But I agree with you, this is FAR from perfect. It was tough, we spent 4 months from Nov 2012 to Feb 13 to get to something we like. Then we needed to work on the BG, the weapons... and makes all of this soup fit together. It was tough, we learned a lot, and I am sure we can make something much better for the sequel.

But I like jrpgs and American RPGs. I admit however that the graphics are growing on me and like all good games it eventually becomes about the gameplay rather than the graphics. At least it's nice to know where the art style was inspired from. Unfortunately I've encountered a show stopping bug. The game crashes every single time while trying to fight the scorpion boss so I am unable to advance. I've tried a dozen times. Closed all apps and restarted my iPad mini original. Running iOS 6.1. Not sure what could be causing this. En passant je parle francais aussi.

I did see it for free for a while but didn't have a good enough connection stuck getting the lite version now I guess. As for best Battleheart type clone I'll have to wait and see that Heros Vs Monsters was pretty good and Raid Leader I loved it just never got any love after release.
Sadly, this lite version is the one I got, re: my previous comment. I think you must have changed it around the time I tried to download on the 20th. I do understand the circumstances, but I wish it had been able to stay free until the 21st, as mentioned.
Hi Dev, I love playing this game and is enjoying every bit of it. But there is a glitch. The game crashes when I was playing the last second stage before the final boss. Whenever I tried to get back into the game, it crashes again after it completes loading. Could you please kindly fix this issue so that I can continue this lovely game? Thank you.

Virtually same situation as jstate, except it's in the probably the stage before the second level boss. Using iOS 6.1.4. Not sure if a switch to iOS 7 would fix the problem. I'm enjoying this, so hopefully you can get this bug sorted out. Before this game-breaking big, there was a tendency for the game to boot me out probably every fifth game? I'm assuming the two are related. EDIT: SORRY FOR THE THREAD NECRO! Don't know how to delete this. Pulled up this thread when searching the game using the app and didn't realize it goes directly to the sale thread.
Looks like it's still free, and doesn't seem like there's any IAP. So the bump was actually a good call from the looks of it.
This is as good as cream soda. Downloaded it and love it so far. I'm not one for downloading RPGs although I love them. I just don't like wasting my time on terrible games but this isn't one of them. Five stars. I also reviewed it on the apple App Store. Great job to the developers.
