One of my friends posted this on Facebook.

I don't care what "sports team" you like/don't like, this is beyond low. It breaks my heart that this guy (who LOST his legs serving his country) would get treated like this, and all because of a damn sports jersey.

Anyways, figured I'd share my displeasure with y'all.

Well, there are drunk a$$holes everywhere. Thing that strikes me crazy about that story is that the restaurant staff asked the disabled veteran to leave rather than the ones taunting him. People should boycott that place.

Every county has morons and obnoxious d-bags. These guys were probably drunk and did a despicable thing, blame them and not their country.

Oh I'm not saying America has anything to do with them being assholes.

I was saying: when things like this happen, I'm embarrassed that I come from the same country as them.

I mean who the hell makes fun of people in wheelchairs, especially a Vet. Like Royce pointed out, why would the restaurant ask them to leave?

Yep a very sad story, in every country you'll get people acting idiots like this. Give 'some' sports fans a few beers and i'm not surprised by this story.

We get it in England a lot, people cant handle their drink, become idiots and abuse everyone and anyone.

This happens all the time, me and my friends become 'happy drunks', have a good time, dont get into fights, smashing up peoples property etc and have a good night out.

Too many idiots turn into 'Rambo' after a few drinks, get abusive/rude/hurl insults and want fights. Embarassing they cant handle their booze/liquor.

Likewise, I don't have any mates who 'kick off' when drunk, they mostly just talk s**t about random things. I think the worst we've got into in recent years was a friend who decided to ask some random bloke what was going on in his world that made him think it was ok to wear bright orange jeans! To be fair, that was a valid question to ask.. some people really take their 'fashion' too far!

Joking aside, TPs initial post and story is a sad one indeed. Makes you wonder why these people are allowed to breath.

Just hope that restaurant gets boycotted out of business. Asking the vet to leave...that's probably what angers me the most. They were in perfect control of their faculties but still somehow came to the conclusion that the guy needed to leave.

I'll go ahead and say it: I think the title of this post was a bit rushed. I thought for 10 minutes of a name and couldn't think of anything, which is why it says what it does.

Also, where does it say they were drunk?

Taunting someone because the colour of their clothes doesn't match your own particular 'tastes', funny, isn't that what the original article is about?
