Can you guys tell me what floor you have reached? I had to restart so now I'm on floor 6(I clean every floor) and I'm using a lightning build

Also with the lightning build is stun that useful?!!

Yep, that's "bullet time." It's your heightened awareness as you feel the quickening surge through you. :)

I beat the game with a pure magic missile, or whatever it is called, build. I had trouble at later levels.

I then worked on a pure lightning... but accidently hit main menu when I died. I was really enjoying it, huge damage and low mana use. I might try a fireball one now.

  4. during bullet time the game seems to lose track of touches quite often, like the fingers I am using to move or fire become deregistered, and I have to lift them up and replace them

    Save?

Hi, I read this Thread last night, so I bought the game without hesitation, and its fantastic! I've always wanted a game like the, with controling the elements(well Lightning and Fire) and to have a Necromancer in there somewhere.

I've been playing it non stop, and its crashed only once (I was getting beating to deah so I went to my inventory to get a potion and it froze.) I love the game. One thing I'm curious about. Will you implement a save feature sometime in the near future? Cause I'd love to keep the items and skills I have, and my level.

EDIT: When it froze again, just when I was shooting Fireballs, I exited the game, clicked on the game again and pressed play, and I was back were I was, just not frozen, is that ment to happen?

It auto-saves currently. There is no true manual save. In options on the main menu you can restart your game.

I asked this earlier today, to save you just use the magic key, go through the door and go back to the dungeon. You can then quit and when you restart the game you come through the magic door!

Actually, you can just quit the program any time, and it saves. When you come back, just hit play, and you're back where you were when you quit.

If you want to reset your game, go into options and pick the reset button.

When I get the crash bugs fixed, I'll be adding in extra difficult levels (like nightmare and hell in Diablo) for players who have beaten the game but want to keep going.

Stun slows down the guys who you're hitting, preventing them from closing in. If you're chaining, it's a lot more useful, since you can immobilize the lead guys and then the guys behind them get blocked.

Actually, I talked my missus into getting this one too, and like me she also happens to have a first-gen touch.

She was already playing her music when she first fired up the game, and it froze before she actually made it into the keep. I had her turn it off before firing it up again, and it was fine. Like most women though, she seems to have a short attention span, and was playing something else 15 minutes later. Sigh.

Great game though, but whether you're playing your own music, or that of the game, I think it's just as likely to freeze.

This must just be something that's happening to other people, because I have never accidentally pressed that button. The game pauses for a short moment after you die, you wizard's hat floats to the floor, and Solomon says something, so you've got plenty of time to prep for the upcoming window with either the continue or main menu buttons.

Agreed -- I did the same thing. Didn't bother me much, because I wanted to do fireball, but it doesn't even ask you if you're sure -- as UI design goes, that's not so great.

I think it's not enough even if with 'are you sure'. It should warn you that this move resets the game. I personally have always been careful to press continue, but can imagines the frustration on the wrong move, especially if you're on the higher levels.

I love this game... but it's an absolute crash-fest right now. Almost unplayable until fixed... hope an update comes out soon.

Yes, I mentioned this earlier as well. Normally in games when you choose to go back to main menu your save is still intact.

I would also like to see an experience bar. Also, a New Game + or an endless dungeon would be cool too.

This didn't work for me, I have an iPod Touch 3G with 3.1.3.

I tried this and I've had crashes with and without custom music/podcast playing.

Yeah the experience bar would be handy along with achievements and save slots...

You can always check experience in the top left corner (stats tab), having another bar on screen would look messy.

I just picked up this game but will wait until the patch is out, I also noticed you make Hoggy. I know I just missed the $1.99 sale any chance to bring the sale back till the patch is out for this game?

    Thanks,

    Rad

    The crashing is kinda worrying.
