Just read Solomon's story. Hilarious stuff. Did I just get Solomon'ed? Some dude in red ran past me and almost took all my life, then chortled "blue wizard needs potion..."
While the Fireballs are Hard (to use AND Control) - I still Highly suggest them. The way I got through the first boss was with this: Fireball Level 4 Embers Level 1 Explode Level 1 Telekinesis Level 1 Channel Mana Level 2 Mana Up Level 1 Life Up Level 1 Magic Missile Level 1 That totals up to What I'm currently at which is Level 11. Just a warning it uses up a LOT of Mana and can be extremely wasteful if you miss. Good Luck!
Hey, don't forget to visit the yellow wizard to see if he can pump up any of your skills for money! I have managed after all this time to duplicate the lockup crash. All it took was giving the iPod to my 8-year-old son to play for a few minutes. So debugging now! He achieved what several beta-testing adults could not. Expect an update sometime this week!
I had this same problem - I thought it was the way it was so actually used a lot of what I call the homing missle to counter it. Some extra help in a tutorial would be great on this for new players! But I should add that this is one great game! I am loving every second of it!
This game is currently my favorite game on my iPhone 3GS. In the last couple of days I have purchased 5-6 games, but I forgot all about the other games after I purchased this one
I just got the "Epic Staff" - 1000% to health regeneration and +2 damage. It's amazing. I love this game!
Charles dropped an Epic Ring, but it was only +1 to Ring of Fire so I sold for like 3k gold. Does the shop ever update its equipment? I'm on floor 6 (I think) and the items available are still the same.
Charles the Hammer or whatever his name is dropped the staff. It's a pretty rare drop and I'm really happy I got it.
No it's not... that's on purpose. The store is there so good items stay there so you can purchase them, but useless ones stay there too. The reason it doesn't change was stated before in this thread - to add another element of strategy. Visiting the store first and seeing what bonuses the purchasable equipment provides will make you shift toward fireball, magic missile, or lightening accordingly. Yes, I know, most games you play nowadays don't really require much thought, but I'm glad that this one does.
