Crazy ideas are good... the iPhone version is getting up against the wall on memory limits, though. I still have to leave room for a couple character classes, so even some good ideas are not getting implemented on iPhone at this point. HOWEVER! I've opened up a thread on my site for the Win/Mac/iPad version that I'm going to break ground on this fall. If you have something you want to see implemented, I'm taking requests there. While the iPhone doesn't have the memory for me to do loop-de-loops for you guys, I want the big deluxe version to leave nobody wanting! So if you have an idea, post it here, in the Solomon's Keep thread: http://raptisoft.com/forum/index.php?board=9.0
If it's as powerful as the iPad, it'll port right over (I'm making it resolution independent). I'll have to see how it all works out. It'll make things a little screwy, since I would rather give it as a free update to SK, but if I put in resources that only would work on a 4G, it'll have to be another app... but with the same name... same story... see how awful that gets? But I will try!
Is it possible to make in-app purchases depending on model, for instance only users with an ipad or a 4G device can purchase the upgrade? It does seem a little messy though.
Cool! Will do a few more runs in SK. Looking forward to play it on Mac and iPad! By the way, the iPhone 4 seems to have 512MB of RAM instead of 256MB from macrumors
Playing on a mac and ipad would be awesome! I think the keep could do with more objects inside, like furniture. And it would be nice to have a few towns to travel to, with infestations to clear ... and basements to explore, or even caves.
Teleport doesn't seem to work properly... If you are taking damage, it won't let you teleport. This defeats the purpose of having teleport; to get away from danger. The first time I thought I just might have missed, but I now know for a fact it isn't me, this has happened over 10 times. Also, this one might be just me, but I think lightning is too weak. I am level 30 on Wizard difficulty, and it takes over a full bar of mana to kill one of the big fire demons. I have max mana, channel mana 4, battle mage 3, lightning 10 and chaining 4. I have taken EVERY opportunity to increase damage or mana. Even posion zombies take over half of a bar of mana. Edit: I forgot to mention one more thing. I have 155% poison resistance, but I still take about 10 damage from poison mages.
Actually, I've noticed that the secondary skills don't work very well in general when fighting. It takes multiple taps to activate them.
Raptisoft, Any chance you could change it so instead of dying you will use a potion from your bag automatically if you have one rather than having to manually go in and grab it? I keep dying because I'm not quick enough to get to my potion. Just a thought. Thanks
No, I have plenty of mana and the spell was ready. This has happened numerous times. It also seems difficult to use secondary spells if you are moving. Also, sometimes chests temporarily disappear. This seems to happen mostly when teleporting to a room with them. Another bug I found: I managed to teleport right when I died. Later when I came back to the game, it started me dead and gave me 2 deaths instead of 1.
speaking of unresponsive controls, i've noticed that, sometimes, if i'm moving the firing control around (to sweep the room), i cannot change the direction i'm walking until i let off the firing wheel.
